Project 1: Brand then and now

• Interacting with customers on the shop floor; helping with any problems and using the radio to conduct shoe checks. • Unpacking delivery, hanging, and tagging items, then merchandising them. • Making sure the store looks tidy and presentable at all times. • Working on tills, serving customers and handling cash and card payments. • Participating in stock takes and closing down the store.

Comparison of Marks and Spencer and its customers now to how it was 10 years ago, looking at the background of the brand as well as the adverts and promotion used in both decades. Market research enabled me to put the first two boards together; comparing the brand and its promotion in two different decades. While conducting surveys and doing some online research allowed me to build up the two customer profile boards.

Project 2: Marmite website development Developing a mini-site for Marmite using Adobe illustrator that embodied the current brand ID, and had a level of interactivity. My website was playful, colourful and fun- just like Marmite! The market research board required me to do background research and find out some information about the brand and its values, which helped with the website design. The customer profile was then put together- looking at the target consumer who would use this site.

Project 3: RESPECT TSHIRT DESIGN Group Photography project for Debenhams Preston, filming on Avenham park in Preston with two models. The brand was Matthew Williamson, and we went for a boho vibe; with soft fabrics, pale colours and a summery location. My favourite 3 images, and the ones that best fit the theme, are each placed with fabric swatches and information. The brand research board shows the garments that inspired us.
