Are you one of those people who is constantly busy and finding it hard to make time for getting a little more fit so you can lose those extra inches? If so, you’re not alone – but fortunately, there is a solution. Virtual fitness lets you get your workout in without having to leave the comfort of your own home. In this article I’m going to share more about this exciting new trend in health and fitness, so keep reading! Virtual fitness is a new and innovative way to work out that uses cutting-edge technology to create an immersive and interactive experience. There are a number of different virtual fitness platforms available, each of which offers a unique workout experience. Some of the most popular virtual fitness platforms include Zwift, Peloton, and Strava. Virtual fitness works by using sensors to track your movement and activity level in real-time.

This data is then used to provide feedback and guidance during your workout. For example, if you are cycling on a virtual platform like Zwift, you will be able to see your avatar pedalling alongside other users in the virtual world. Virtual fitness is an ideal way to stay motivated and committed to your workout routine, as it provides a fun and social way to exercise. Although fitness trackers and apps are now all about, the idea of Virtual Fitness is not new. In fact, the earliest examples date back to the late 19th century. One of the first was a device called the Pedometer, which was worn on the belt and measured how many steps a person took in a day. The Pedometer was followed by other devices that measured things like heart rate and respiration. These early fitness tracking devices were mostly used by athletes and scientists to track their physical activity and improve their performance. It wasn't until the 1970s that fitness tracking devices began to become more mainstream. The first popular consumer device was the Polar Heart Rate Monitor, which was developed in 1977.
