Get to know... A Melbourne mum has made it easy for parents to help kids teach kids some basic behaviours by designing some beautifully designed Goal and Reward Charts that can be pesonalised. There are three different charts, each with their own focus: My Amazing Day (routines and daily habits), My Excellent Health (to encourage healthy eating and exercise) and My Fantastic Values (to encourage kind, caring and respectful behaviour). Christian Meditation of course also helps people to develop a deep relationship with God, through reciting the mantra, Ma-ra-na-tha, which means, Come Lord. By teaching children to meditate, both at school and at home, it will not only help them become calmer, they will also develop a greater appreciation for others which will assist in all of their relationships in the classroom, the playground and at home.

June what’s on
makeit let’s
hanging my awesome art
stapling
By Jordan Stievano It seems that we kids are just too talented and unfortunately mum and dad said our fridge cannot keep up with all the paintings and drawings I bring home. So here is a simple solution to keep the cool artwork we make, last that little bit longer.
What you need
how to make it [1] Put the canvas on the ground and cut 3
pieces of string the width of the canvas.
sticking
[2] Using the staple gun, I roughly spaced
the string on the Canvas and got mum
to attach it to the wooden frame.
[3] Using the glue (with mums help), I stuck • Large Canvas (up to you what size)
all the shapes over the rest of the canvas.
Don’t go overboard with the cut-outs as
it may detract from your cool artwork.
• String (enough to go span the width of the canvas 3-4 times) • Scissors (Make sure mum or dad help
• Staple Gun (Make sure mum or dad help with this one)
• Craft Glue • Mini Craft Pegs
