Campers will enjoy making new friends while learning cooperation and teamwork, all while having fun! Day Camp stresses supportive, fun-filled experiences including crafts, sports, and swimming in our own park district pools.
JR. DAY CAMP
For campers who are ages 7 or 8 and are going into 2nd or 3rd grade in the fall of 2024. Children must turn 7 by 9/1/24 and cannot be older than 8 by 9/1/24 to participate in camp.

• A $50 non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee per child.
• A $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit per session for each enrollment in Day, Kids, and Sports Camp (excluding the week of July 4) OR
• A $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit for each enrollment in the 9 week session of Day Camp and Kids Camp
• Credit card payments for the balance will be automatically processed on the following dates:
• 9 Week payments will follow the above payment schedule.
• Declined credit cards will have a 3-day grace period for payment. Notifications of payment issues are made by email. Please make sure your email address is accurate in your Palatine Park District account.
• If payment is not received within 3-day grace period, the spot will no longer be available. Your child will be removed from the session of camp that has not been paid.
• Kids Camp Mid Day and Tuesday/Thursday Camps must be paid in full.

CAMP REFUND POLICY
• Refunds requested at least 10 business days prior to the start of a camp session will receive a full refund minus the original camp deposit.
• No refunds will be issued for 9 Week camps after FRIDAY, MAY 3.
• Medical and special situation refund requests are subject to review and the discretion of the Superintendent of Recreation.

SUMMER CLUB
Summer Club is camp fun for three- and four-year-olds. Activities include arts and crafts, music, stories, games, and water fun days. There will be different themes each session. Dress for indoor and outdoor play. Children must be self-sufficient in the bathroomno diapers or pull-ups. All campers will receive a T-shirt. M/W/F campers should bring a peanut-free lunch OR snack and a drink.

CHEERLEADING CAMP
Join the fun at this cheerleading camp designed for girls with all skill levels from beginning to advanced. Girls learn a variety of skills, work on team building, and enjoy exciting games and activities. All cheer participants receive a camp T-shirt. The week concludes with a performance for friends and family so the girls can show off their new cheer skills!

SKYHAWKS GOLF CAMP

Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Participants learn the fundamentals of swinging, putting, body positioning, etiquette, and keeping score. Skyhawks has adopted the ShortGolf system to its curriculum. ShortGolf utilizes equipment designed for beginning golfers, including oversized plastic club heads and “mini tennis balls” to build confidence and have fun. CHICAGO WHITE SOX SUMMER CAMP
Learn from the pros this summer at a White Sox Summer Camp presented by Wintrust, with participating partner Topps! Professional coaches from the White Sox organization have helped build programs designed for kids ages 5-12 at every ability level. All campers work on throwing, hitting, fielding, and base-running, but more importantly, they will be taught to love the game of baseball. On top of the four (4) days of camp, each camper will receive tickets to a White Sox game (date TBD), a White Sox T-shirt, hat, and other various White Sox goodies. (MD)

WRESTLING
FREMD SUMMER WRESTLING CAMP
Miguel Gomez and Johnny Perez, Fremd High School wrestling coaches, will be teaching folkstyle techniques and fundamentals in both neutral offensive/defensive and top/bottom positions. T-shirt, shorts and wrestling shoes are recommended, but not required. This camp will be located at Fremd High School in the wrestling room. (MD)

Join the Nerf Battle phenomenon at the Palatine Park District where we focus on fun, team play, and sportsmanship while competing on obstacle courses and more! All campers must bring their own Nerf gun. Modified, fully automatic, and mega dart guns are not allowed. N-Strike darts will be provided along with safety goggles. (MD)

POM DANCE CAMP
Learn the latest in dance and pom routines! Camp helps fine-tune skills for high school or junior high. Participants are divided by grade level and learn two to three routines. Plus, enjoy so many other fun activities. The week ends with a final performance for family and friends at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center. Included in the fee is a T-shirt, and a special certificate.

Get your feet wet with the Palatine Children's Chorus! SUMMER CONCERT CHOIR INTENSIVE
Spend the summer singing with old friends and new! Palatine Children’s Chorus (PCC) Concert Choir singers and new singers, ages 12-18 learn PCC favorites, along with exciting new pieces, developing musicianship and friendships. Camp is taught by a certified music teacher. Singers bring a snack and a water bottle. Classes are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. BROADWAY BOOT CAMP
Get a fast-paced taste of theatre as we embark on a play especially chosen for this camp. Attendance is required for each class. Students will work on their acting skills as they immerse themselves in the summer’s selected play. Auditions are held during the first class of the session. Students and parents will be asked to help with simple costumes and props. The final presentation will be held at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center on Friday, June 14. Do you love horses? Do you ever wonder what they eat or do for fun? Do they lay down to sleep? Does it hurt when they get shoes nailed on? How is a horse trained? What do you do when a horse gets sick? Are they all the same or what makes them different? Learn the answers to all your questions at our day camp. You’ll learn to ride, too! Day campers enjoy a 45-minute riding lesson daily and learn the basics of horse care. We’ll add some craft projects, game time, and videos. Horse handling and horse care will be taught in a hands-on manner where students care for their “own” horse. Bring a sack lunch daily.

LITTLE KIDS PONY CAMP
Is your child in love with ponies? This program is the perfect place to get involved in the wonderful world of ponies and horses. They’ll also enjoy crafts, stories, and lots of hands-on time learning to be comfortable with our little 4-legged friends.

To submit a refund request, an Application for Transfer/Withdrawal Form must be submitted. The form can be found online or picked up at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
• A full refund (less a $5 processing fee) will be processed for approved requests received 7 days prior to the start of the program.
• Requests received less than 7 days will be evaluated and processed accordingly.
• Approved refunds will be made via check for cash or check payments, or will be refunded back to the original card number used for credit card payments. Refunds can also be applied as a household credit, in which case the $5 processing fee will be waived.
