JULY 31 – AUGUST 3 n CampGo: Under the Sea
9am-3pm | PBGO Loft
We want to make sure summer camp is complete… WITH WATER WEEK! During our Under the Sea week, we will dive into all things water! From going to Palmetto Bluff’s marina to learn some fun water-based skills, to exploring the creatures that live in the depths of the water that surrounds us. And of course, there will be water themed activities and totally tubular crafts to sail through as we wave goodbye to another amazing summer! $360 per child.
AUGUST 1 n Hinckley Fireworks Cruise
6:30–9:30pm | Grace Dock
Cruise to Shelter Cove on Hilton Head Island to watch fireworks from our private Hinckley Yacht. Enjoy the sunset and Lowcountry waterways, with charcuterie, red and white wine along the journey $1,050 per charter.
AUGUST 2 n Artists of The Bluff Rotation
Welcome Reception
3-5pm | FLOW Gallery n Shells and Chardonnay
Every three months, FLOW Gallery + Workshop welcomes a new rotation of artists from The Artists of The Bluff, with this third exhibition on display and available August through October, featuring a wide selection of paintings, photography, jewelry, and pottery. Join us at the gallery for a glass of prosecco and browse new pieces of fine art created by your talented neighbors! Complimentary.
10am-1pm | Shooting Club
Join us every first Wednesday of the month for our Women’s Shells and Chardonnay Clinics, to dive deeper into the world of shot gun shooting. Followed by light hors d’oeuvres and drinks. $25 for Shooting Club Members, $50 for non-Shooting Club members.

Join the Conservancy’s Archaeologists as we stroll among the cemeteries of Wilson Village and hear tales of the lives of those who lay at rest.
AUGUST 3 n Explore PBC: Creatures of the Night
8:30pm | Conservancy Classroom
Join the Conservancy as we head out into the woods to look and listen for nocturnal wildlife residing at Palmetto Bluff. We will listen for bats using ultrasonic bat detectors, check light traps for insects, and even meet with Conservancy staff conducting bat research!
AUGUST 4 n PBGO Field Trip Friday: Boating Excursion
9am-3pm | Wilson Landing n Volunteer Day – Pollinator Garden
Spend the day with our Wilson Landing crew tubing on the water, embarking on a boat ride, and memorable trip to Shark Tooth Island (tide permitting). Lunch will be at a restaurant on the water. $90 per child; ages 8-14.
1–3pm | Conservancy Classroom n First Friday Lecture: Snakes of the Lowcountry
Join Aaron, Conservancy Educator, tending to the pollinator garden. Together, attendees will weed the garden beds and check if any plants need extra care.
6–7pm | Conservancy Classroom
Bring the entire family to the Conservancy to hear Tony Mills, Education Director for the Lowcountry Institute, and Jay Walea, the Conservancy’s Executive Director, discuss the native snakes of Palmetto Bluff. And of course, there will be live snakes!
AUGUST 5 n End of Summer Bash
1–3pm | Moreland Pool
Join the PBGO team to relive all the top hits of summer one last time at our End of Summer Bash. There will be food trucks, inflatables and a foam slip and slide. Complimentary.

What lives in the salt marsh? Come find out as we stroll along the marsh edge to Moreland Landing and discuss the ecology of the marsh. Once at the Landing, we will check crab traps, throw cast nets, and search for critters under the Moreland dock!
AUGUST 9 n PB Tide Paint & Sip
10-11:30am | PBGO Loft
This painting program is designed around what is trendy, and what our younger generation wants to paint. Each month we are offering the opportunity to paint something new and exciting with an instructor that walks you through step by step how to create a piece of artwork that you will feel proud to hang on your wall. $25 per child; ages 9-12.
AUGUST 9 n Poetry & Painting Exhibition with Jenan Mcclain

Embark on a poetic journey as we warmly welcome talented Charleston, SC-based painter and poet Jenan Mcclain to the Bluff. Prepare to be enchanted as Jenan unveils the depth of her artistic prowess through a mesmerizing poetry reading and writing experience.
AUGUST 10 n Wonderful World of Skulls: Mammals
12–1pm | Conservancy Classroom n Fenocchio Wine Dinner
Have you stumbled upon an animal skull in the woods and wondered what it was? Join Lydia Moore, Conservancy Research and Education Coordinator, as she shows us how to identify mammals through the unique features of their skulls.
6-9pm | Canoe Club
Join us for a fantastic night enjoying Fenocchio wines paired with a dinner menu curated by Palmetto Bluff’s Executive Chef Don Yamauchi. We will be showcasing a selection of Fennochio wine from the historic Roerzo zone. $175 per person.
