New pool table
Date: 22nd February 2019
Issue No. 8
Th e n ew pool t able! Recently, a new pool table arrived! Everyone seems to like it. People have started to crowd around it and want to play. Up to 6 people are allowed to play one game. Even though the game can get crowded, players are reminded not to throw balls at other people or mess around with the cue sticks. This behaviour could harm someone and have a serious impact on them. Although pool is a very fun and competitive game, there is some seriousness to it. Remember to keep calm even if you are losing. The pool table has been bought with a lot of money, so be courteous and play properly. This game is very fun to play and a great way to spend time, but if equipment is damaged, it will affect how you play later on .

Exam Week Just as a quick reminder, we have English, Humanities and Maths exam in two weeks. The tests will begin on Monday the week after the Public Holiday, and will continue throughout the week. To start with my number one tip: DON?T STRESS OUT. Stress will only hinder your exam results, not support them. If you walk into that test room with a fixed mindset, I guarantee your results would not be at the highest standards they could?ve been with an open one. Tip number two: STUDY HARD. One of the major paths to success during exams is paying attention in class and completing homework when essential. So, if you commence your test with a mind packed with previously learned knowledge, your reason to stress at all is needless. Tip number three: APPRECIATE YOUR RESULTS. OK, so you may not have gotten the highest grade in class, but all this really reveals are the main subjects you have to focus on and your next steps in your adventure of learning. I would highly recommend considering these tips before the day of your exams. All the best and good luck! - Aliza
