TERAJA & MELILAS Issue 136 | 26th May 2023 Express Yourself Day
On Monday 15th May a number of parents attended a parent workshop to explore digital citizenship. It was a great opportunity to share how the school is supporting students growth in knowledge, skills and understanding of a very important aspect of modern life. Technology is ubiquitous, therefore supporting students in becoming knowledgeable and skillful users of technology is an important job for both parents and schools.
Guest speaker, Mr. Alexander shared his insight into digital safety and hygiene and the importance of parents setting up robust protective passwords and digital environments at home.
You will find his slideshow linked below by clicking the image on the left.
Mr. Simon discussed the schools use of the Common Sense Education curriculum throughout the year. Through the program students explore the following 6 themes: Media Balance; Online Privacy; Digital Footprint; Communication; Cyber Bullying; and News and Media Literacy. find his slideshow linked below by clicking the image on the right
