Upcoming Community Events Friday, December 3 from 3pm to 8pm • 2021 Wassailfest & Holiday Night Market • Downtown Hazleton, 20 W Broad Street Shop for the Holidays! Downtown businesses and organizations will serve as hosts to guest vendors. Hosts will also be providing samples of holiday drinks (like mulled wine, spiced cider, boilo, egg nog, and other holiday favorites). Shopping is FREE! A tasting mug will be provided to those who purchase the drink tasting ticket. Cost is $10 per person for advanced tickets (or $12 same day). Pick up your map and tasting mug at the HUB Welcome Center (15 W. Broad St.) starting at 4:30 PM on the day of the event. Enjoy additional festivities at CAN DO Community Park with special Christmas Tree Lighting and a Christmas in the Caribbean party at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts. Market • 28 S Railroad St, Tamaqua Come join us for our annual open air old fashioned Christmas market. It’s held outside under white lights. Our local fire company attend and sets up warming pits. We are honored to have Victorian carolers. We have approximately 25 vendors that surround our turn of the century building and store which will also be open. We have a second location, 5 Points Mill, a short walk away which will also be open.
