PaperCrafter reader Toni-Marie Price felt overwhelmed to be chosen as our designer for the day, having taken up crafting two years ago whilst suffering with poor health. Now she's better her makes are also going from strength to strength. Here's how she made her beautiful card... ➊ To make the flower, cut out six circles: three from kraft paper and three from parchment. Spritz each with water, scrunch into little balls and allow to dry. Roughly ink around the edges of each circle using two inks and layer on top of each other, alternating colours. Pierce through the centre of all six circles and use a split pin to hold together. Take each circle and scrunch to the centre. Carefully tease each flower open, concentrating on one layer at a time. ➋ For the bow, take a strip of paper, fold the ends into the centre and stick in place. Wrap another strip around the centre to form the knot. Cut a third strip in half, snip a 'V' shape from each piece and secure behind the bow. Ink around all the edges of the bow. Take two star die cuts, ink the edges and layer onto the bow’s knot.
and ink the edges. Attach these to the bottom left of your card along with the paper flower from earlier. ➎ Cut 12 poinsettias from the patterened paper using decoupage scissors and roll over a pencil to give extra dimension. Stick to the card as shown. Take a die cut
topper and ink the edges before attaching to the centre of your card using foam pads. Select a sentiment sticker, mount onto paper and cut out into a rectangle. Affix to the top left-hand side of the card edge to look like a tag. Tuck the two star pins behind the topper to finish.
TONI-MARIE’S FAVE KIT BITS T הsts e aLLy -t, d pfect wh e rsa scks
➌ Take two card blanks and stick together to form one large gatefold card. Use brown paper to cover the join and to create an insert, and again to create two matts for the card fronts. Layer with the sheet music and ink all the edges.
CHALLENG
E
ACCEPTED! Tis the season for crafting, and Jody Smith certainly took advantage of that in our monthly #CraftChallenge. Well done Jody, your wreath is brilliant! You can use any PaperCrafter kit to enter our challenge, and if you win we'll send you a crafty goodie bag. We can't wait until the next one!
➍ Take a piece of paper to match your bow to be the 'ribbon'. Ink the edges and fix this to the top right of the card front, affixing the bow on top. Cut or die cut snowflakes from one of the other card blanks

FESTIVE FOLDS ➊ Trace and cut out the template from papercraftermagazine.co.uk twice onto white cardstock and fix the two shapes together. Border punch a pattern along the slanted sides and ink the edges. ➋ Mark and score each section with a bone folder or the blunt edge of a pair of scissors. For each section, matt coloured cardstock and patterned paper, alternating the papers as shown, making sure to leave a 0.3cm border around each layer. ➌ Draw and cut out a 6.5cm circle. Adhere the ‘Merry Christmas’ sticker to it
and mount onto a patterned 7.5cm circle and a 8.5cm scallop-edged circle. Adhere a 30cm loop of ribbon behind it as shown and attach to the centre of the card using foam pads. Affix a bow at the top of the arrangement.
➏ Wrap the strip over the greeting and mark where the card ends (this is where you need to score). Score the lines, fold around and use double sided tape to stick the ends together.
➍ Punch four flowers and six leaves. Ink the edges of each shape and place a flat-backed gem or pearl in the centre. Adhere two leaves behind each flower and stick two flowers to the card
➐ Trim a 3.5cm x 9.5cm section of card and a 3cm x 9cm rectangle of patterned paper. Mount the patterned paper onto the card and wrap with brown string attaching it to the back of the rectangle.
➎ To make the belt, trim a 5cm x 27cm piece of white A4 cardstock and punch along the long side. Ink the edges.
➑ Affix the arrangement onto the front panel of the belt and stick two flowers to the centre.

e're sure you'll agree the PaperCrafter kit is especially stunning this issue and we can't get enough of the sophisticated blue hues and elegant deer motifs. Combine these colours and fashion some thoroughly modern greetings this weekend.

Stick this to the card using foam pads. ➍ Using three different patterned papers cut out two triangles to 5cm x 10cm x 10cm and one triangle to 8cm x 12cm x 12cm.
