A recent success story of a client who passed their FCA financial conduct authority Equity Release Qualification. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the regulator of the financial services industry in the UK. It requires that all advisors selling equity release products must attain a qualification to be able to advise on equity release products. The client first got in touch with us on Friday 12th March 2021 and booked onto our Equity Release qualification on Monday 15th March 2021. She was hesitant at first as she was unsure if she would be able to get her head around the content provided within such a short space of time, however, once she received her training materials and started to study she soon picked up the course content and completed it within 6 days. Here is an extract from the email we received from the client: 'Hi I hope you are well. I have completed my exam for my ERQ and I am delighted to say I have passed with a score of 86%. Thank you for your help and support throughout this process, it has been much appreciated.' As we are all aware, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) introduced new Equity Release exams in September 2018. These new exams represent a significant change in the way that Equity Release advisers qualify with the FCA and also brings qualifications into line with other financial services qualifications.
