The different shades of green may reflect differences between consumers in terms of their Awareness and knowledge of the issues . Attitudes towards the environment in general. Other priorities in life such as making a living. Their health ,family commitments and housing.

Green tourists might be influenced by a number of motivators . An altruistic belief in the need to protect the environment. A desire to feel good about their behavior as tourists. A wish to Improve their image among friends and relatives by being seen to be concerned with environment issues.
