Welcome to the 10th EAG International and Visitor Attraction Expo at ExCel. It has been an eventful decade, which has seen the show mature into a fantastic three days of new products, new ideas and networking. Despite the challenges that the industry has faced, EAG has continued to grow and attract ever-increasing visitor numbers. Once again, more than half of our exhibitors are overseas companies, providing our visitors with the best possible showcase of games and services that the world has to offer.

Welcome

&

I would like to welcome everyone to our industry’s Showcase, the EAG. Now in its tenth iteration, the Show never ceases to impress me with the breadth of product on show and the level of continuous innovation that has been lavished on the fun we provide. This year is no different. I hope you can take away from the three days the products, services and ideas that will make 2019 a great year for your business. As we heard at bacta’s annual Convention in November, the coming year is going to be an interesting one. With the FOBT debate now over and the stake cut coming into effect in April the gambling side of our business will be operating within a new landscape. For the amusement sector we will

Welcome to the 10th EAG international which kicks off an exciting and interesting year ahead. It’s hard to believe that this is the 10th year of the show and what a time to reflect on what’s happened. 10 years ago, we attended the first show after the implementation of the new Gambling Act. Since then, we have seen a redemption revolution in the industry, as well as a fall from grace for some of the erstwhile favourites, such as SWPs. We also saw the explosion in the number of betting shops, and the rise of online gambling. We look forward to the year ahead and further engagement with the government regarding the challenges we face and the help we need.

Thank You

no doubt see much greater innovation around the immersive experience. EAG is the best place to learn and see what implications these and many other developments will have. Finally, it was great to see that the bacta dinner at EAG sold out well in advance of the Show. Our intention is to grow the event back to the several hundred guests we used to get in the days of the ATEI. Some will remember just how much fun those events generated for exhibitors, visitors and guests from the UK and abroad. Can I wish everyone at EAG a Happy New Year and invite you to come and join us on the bacta Stand for a coffee and a chat. If you are not a member come and find out why it pays to be so. If you are a member we want to hear how we can make your membership work better for you. Or just come and say hello. We would love to see you John White bacta Chief Executive

The show itself has evolved with seminar programmes, training days, a bacta lounge, Pub Summit, Euromat meetings, Italian association meeting, Social Responsibility workshops and more, alongside the many fantastic exhibits. With the changes to the B2 stake being implemented in April this year, bacta continues to look at the regulatory environment in order to lobby for the best future of the industry. EAG is an opportunity for bacta members to come together and celebrate what is great about our industry. I look forward to seeing many of you at the EAG dinner on Tuesday and the bacta party at The Fox on Wednesday and may I take this opportunity to wish you all very happy and prosperous 2019. Celebrating 10 Years Of

Innovation

For the amusements and coin-op industries, January has always been a rather special month; a time for reflection on the past year and for laying plans for the next. In fact, there has been a bacta amusements show in January in London for more than 70 years and the Association is proud to uphold the tradition. In 10 years EAG International has constantly evolved, reflecting a transformation in the leisure market. Although the London shows were traditionally focused on AGCs, FECs and Pubs, today’s show-goer is just as likely to be an owner or operator of cinemas, family attractions, holiday parks and indoor and adventure play facilities. EAG International & VAE Chairman Martin Burlin is in no doubt about the underlying reasons for the widening of the visitor base: “During the show’s relatively short life there have been some very challenging economic times. Leisure operators have been quick to understand the importance of new revenues and that is what EAG International & VAE offers. Competition for the out of home leisure spend is intense and that’s why operators are borrowing the best ideas from other markets. The products at EAG International & VAE can give them that differentiation.”

Many of our exhibitors will be celebrating 10 years of supporting EAG International and VAE and to these we owe a huge vote of thanks for their loyalty and commitment:. New Exhibitors For 2019 Were still adding new exhibitors, keen to be a part of January’s milestone event: A special welcome to: Rimini Guardian, VEX Solutions, Kwikpay Ltd, Marston’s Telecoms, SWD Games, Kashing, Transact Planday, Newmans Sales, Xtrematic, Global Sourcing Manchester

An Event For Operators Of Every Conceivable Leisure Destination. Pubs, Clubs, FECs, AGCs, Bowling, Holiday Parks, Family Attractions, Bingo, Indoor Play , Adventure Play, Cinemas, Sports Facilities EAG International & VAE’s exhibitors work hard to a deliver a stunning array of products from well over 200 represented manufacturers. They’re an international bunch with more than 25% travelling from all corners of the globe representing every size and style of business, from iconic international brands, through to small start-ups.

World of Rides have been manufacturing and selling children's coin-operated static kiddie rides since 1969, and will be exhibiting the latest version of their hugely popular traditional THREE HORSE GALLOPER CAROUSEL for children. Their centrepiece carousel can be sited either indoors or outdoors, by adding the optional overhead canopy. What makes it stand out from all other roundabouts in the same price range, is that the three horses go up and down as they go around on beautifully decorated centre poles. The addition of brightly painted rounding boards with LED lighting, and the provision of traditional Mammoth Fairground Organ sound effects, make this the 'must have' centrepiece children's ride for 2019... and beyond.

Established in 1989, Yuahua Token Co. is the largest manufacturer for tokens & redemption tickets in China. Custom Redemption tickets & Tokens can feature your logo or brand name. Tickets can be made from different gsm paper to meet different requirements and budget. Tokens we produce include bi-metal token, mid-hole token, grooved token, edge-lettering tokens and edge-reeded token.
