INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE CHAMBER

The more members that are involved with our Chamber, the stronger its voice becomes in the community. Likewise, the success of the Chamber is strongly affected by the involvement of its membership. An assortment of committees and task forces meet regularly to advance the organization’s program of work. There is a committee that meets the interests and talents of nearly everyone.

Our standing committees and special groups include: Ambassadors, Governmental Affairs, Health and Human Services, Women in Business, Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches (YPOP), Science & Technology and the Trustees.

Business Referral

Chamber staff responds to thousands of telephone, mail and Internet inquiries about the Palm Beaches, and answers thousands of local and national requests for recommendations on goods and services. The Chamber refers these requests to Chamber members. Members are encouraged to use the Membership Directory in print or online as their primary resource when purchasing products and services. Doing business with companies that share a commitment to the Chamber and the future of our community is good business.

Networking Events

The Chamber provides valuable networking events and functions that create opportunities for member s to interact with each other and gain new business contacts. Breakfasts, seminars, after-hours mixers, power networking lunches, Spring Training baseball, the annual dinner and silent auction, and the golf tournament provide a variety of opportunities for members to build relationships with other business leaders and entertain valued clients.

Information Center

The Chamber invites you to visit its beautiful offices on the Intracoastal waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach. Our large public lobby, information desk and brochure racks offer a wealth of information about the area.

Increasing visibility for Chamber members is one of the primary goals of the website. Members have their own page on the website and are visible to an enormous number of potential customers and clients through the online Membership Directory.

Events

The Chamber Event Calendar, located on the Chamber website, is always up-to-date with information and includes the ability to register. Event recaps and photos can be found in our weekly e-newsletters and on our social media pages. In addition to the large number of Chamber events, members can add their own events on the Community Calendar.
