Godwin Okolie Wintrice Money Advisors
Godwin Okolie is the CEO and founder of Wintrice Money Advisors, LLC, a money manager and wealth management advisor boutique firm located in downtown West Palm Beach. He provides direction to individuals, families and businesses to reach their investment objectives and other financial goals. Okolie started his career with American Express Financial Advisors in New York and later worked with Merrill Lynch before starting Wintrice Money Advisors. Since its inception, the intention has been to eventually transition Wintrice into a commercial bank. Okolie has a degree in accounting from the New York Institute of Technology and a certificate in film production from New York University. He is also the founder of Making Dollars and Sense, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization established to design a road map to permanently eradicate poverty in Palm Beach County by 2050.
Harvey E. Oyer III Shutts & Bowen, LLP
Harvey E. Oyer, III is a partner in the law firm of Shutts & Bowen LLP, an adjunct professor of law at the University of Miami School of Law, and an adjunct professor at the Florida Atlantic University Honors College. He is a fifth-generation native Floridian and served for seven years as chairman of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County. He also served as 2013 chair of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, a director of the Palm Beach Area Chapter of the American Red Cross and a director of the Palm Beach Community College Foundation. Oyer is a noted writer and lecturer on topics ranging from law, history and archaeology to international laws regarding antiquities trafficking and cultural property protection. He holds degrees in Economics, Archaeology and Law, and has worked in various parts of the world as an underwater archaeologist. He is a member of the Explorers Club and served as a captain in the United States Marine Corps. One of his hobbies is writing children’s books.
Jorge Pesquera Discover The Palm Beaches
A 45-year travel and tourism industry veteran, Jorge Pesquera joined Discover The Palm Beaches (formerly the Palm Beach County CVB) in November 2007 to lead the region’s destination marketing organization with a staff of 52 and a budget of $18 million. Prior to accepting this position, Pesquera was president and CEO of the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association, and was recognized as the Hotel Association Executive of the Year at the annual Caribbean Hotel Industry Conference (CHIC). Pesquera earned the distinction as one of the Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing in 2011 awarded by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). This recognition was based on his leadership and innovative marketing strategies which helped steer the CVB through a reorganization and allowed Palm Beach County tourism to thrive in a weakened economy. Discover The Palm Beaches became one of the first 100 DMOs to be accredited by the Destination Marketing Association International and was recognized by the Board of County Commissioners through a proclamation in July 2009. He holds a degree in hotel administration from Cornell University and has held senior executive positions with Hilton International and Conrad Hotels in New York, London and Beverly Hills.
Richard Pinsky Akerman Law Firm
Richard Pinsky leads Akerman law firm’s public policy practice for the state of Florida. Richard has more than 35 years of government affairs experience in Florida and Washington, D.C. He has an extensive background representing clients before the Florida legislature on issues ranging from renewable energy, transportation and economic development to tax incentives, water infrastructure and local government project funding. Over his career, Richard has helped local governments secure millions of dollars through Florida’s annual budget appropriation process. Helping clients understand the complexities of public policy decision-making has become a hallmark of Richard’s expertise. He is sought after for his strategic planning and comprehensive approach in presenting and introducing his client’s needs to lawmakers and governmental bodies.
