Our county’s annual events lure audiences from across the nation and around the world. In November, stars from film, TV and music join tennis legend Chris Evert for her charity tennis tournament, the Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, which is also home to an ATP tour event, the Delray Beach Open, bringing top-ranked players to the county each winter.
In December, downtown West Palm Beach is overrun with participants of the Garden of Life Palm wide and are perfect for a family picnic, barbecue, birthday party or volleyball competition. And there’s no better way to admire the region’s architectural wonders than from aboard a speedboat on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Beaches Marathon, while gridiron fans celebrate the holidays with the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl, which features teams from the MidAmerican Conference and Conference USA squaring off at FAU Stadium. In February, the Honda Classic at PGA National Resort is one of the premier events on the PGA Tour, and the first stop on the “Florida Swing.” Top players on tour compete for a purse of $8 million.
