The City of West Palm Beach’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Events maintains and programs 56 parks, seven community centers, a skate park, nature preserve, aquatic center and the beautiful West Palm Beach Waterfront. It sponsors various activities throughout the year including out-of-school programs and winter, spring and summer camp activities for children, adult and youth athletic leagues, tournaments, arts and crafts classes, karate, yoga and much more. The Waterfront is home to myriad weekly and monthly community and special events including concerts, movies, dance activities and the renowned West Palm Beach GreenMarket every Saturday.
