Shopping, Dining & Accommodations
The Palm Beaches offer various amenities and services to meet the needs of all types of visitors. Families enjoy kids’ camps and babysitting services at many local hotels, while business travelers find on-site conference rooms and business centers make their trip more convenient. There are also several hotels near Palm Beach International Airport that make traveling to and from the Palm Beaches a breeze.
During the cooler months, our area attracts a good number of “snowbirds,” seasonal visitors who relish the opportunity to winter in the Palm Beaches. For those staying longer than a week, there are numerous rental options that feature an array of recreational facilities such as golf, tennis and swimming.
Of course “the season,” which is the height of the county’s population influx that begins in mid-autumn and ends in early spring, also brings typically higher lodging rates. If you’re looking for a steal of a deal, plan on vacationing during the warmer summer months when many hotels offer inexpensive packages—you’ll also enjoy the slower pace and lesscrowded attractions and restaurants during this time.
