Alissa Dhawan

HBK CPAs & Consultants

Alissa Dhawan, CPA, MBA is a Principal in the West Palm Beach office at HBK CPAs & Consultants and leads the Southeast Florida assurance practice for the firm. She recently transferred from the Mid-Atlantic region, where she assisted in growing and expanding the New Jersey audit and assurance practice of the firm. Dhawan has been with HBK since 2018 and has more than 14 years of experience, working primarily for a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited. She works with clients in a variety of industries and has experience in providing forensic, merger and acquisition, transactional due diligence and other financial consulting services. Since moving to Palm Beach County, she has joined the American Cancer Society Associate Board of Ambassadors, Jewish Women’s Foundation, Executive Women of Palm Beaches, Young Friends of the Kravis Center, and the Audit Committee of the Palm Beach County School District. In addition, Dhawan recently joined the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches effective November 2021.

Robert Diffenderfer Lewis Longman & Walker P.A.

Mr. Diffenderfer is a Trustee and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. He maintains a diverse governmental practice involving complex environmental and land use matters, including representation before local, state and federal legislative and regulatory bodies; growth management counseling and environmental comprehensive plan adoption, implementation and defense; DRI approval and implementation; environmental resource permitting and related litigation. His practice also includes projects relating to special district creation, operation and administration, as well as representation of local general-purpose governments on a variety of specialized governmental, growth management and natural resource issues. Mr. Diffenderfer has handled a variety of growth management, land use and regulatory issues for large public infrastructure projects including the Fort LauderdaleHollywood International Airport, the Palm Beach International Airport, the North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport and various Florida Department of Transportation highway projects. Mr. Diffenderfer is immediate past chair of the firm’s Transportation and Infrastructure Practice Group, past chair of the Pine Jog Environmental Education Center, and a member of the Palm Beach and Collier County Bar Associations, the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association.
