WHAT WE DO We strive to share our personal conviction for better and well designed spaces with our clients and collaborators; Our core services are Architecture Planning Interior Design & Graphic Environments Also, we extend our pinciples by exploring possiblities of well designed things through Branding Product and Furniture Design Each project is full of opportunities - to develop well designed spaces and things; to learn; to integrate our services; to share insights and expertise. We help our clients and collaborators and learn from them as well through our conversations and interactions and the projects we do together.

T+A Design Studio
Our Conviction PASSION FOR DESIGN We are a young group of individuals brought together by our love and passion for places and things that are ‘welldesigned’. We contribute to this through our core services with the principles and ideas we explore in our studio
BEST ‘HUMAN’ EXPERIENCE We firmly believe that the architecture and design of the built environment greatly influence the experience and wellbeing of an individual - and they deserve to have the best experience possible. This is what we strive for to achieve in every design project we undertake whether large or small.
COLLABORATION We are collaborative. We believe in the power of teamwork, shared knowledge, design exploration and experimentation; expertise and skills to develop insights and design solutions for our clients and for the upliftment of the design industry. We “TRUST THE PROCESS”
DESIGN, NOT STYLE We aim for solutions, not just ‘good looks’; Perhaps the way we design is best summed up by this quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupery “A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

PARKLANE MALOLOS Design of Residences and Facilities offered at a Housing Development in Bulacan CONCEPT AND SCHEMES
SCHEME 2
FOOTPRINT The
building footprint is 27m (approx 1000sqm); Applicable to all clubhouse / multipurpose area cuts of the 3 phases,
SCHEME 3x set at 38m
PATHWAYS & PROGRAM On most lot cuts, the clubhouse is verily accessible on 3 sides. The program with the smaller blocks containing the offices, admin, smaller rooms and showers, toilets and lockers; while the larger block is the multipurpose hall.
ENVELOPE
DERIVED FORM
The design is intended to be OPEN AIR, and to have long span column free design on the multipurpose activity area of the clubhouse.
The derived form is expressive with its curves and the rhythmic elements emphasize its length
The building will be enclosed with vertical rhythmic elements
Analysis/Comments: Design is facade driven (regular box form, and facade treated); Naturally ventilated; however client expressed concern that they might consider providing air-conditioning to the facility. Materiality and constructibility was also raised - this is to be further explored; Another concern raised was that the design might be too familiar or similar with an image peg. Design heirarchy was also raised; since the structure is a community gathering space, while the homes are also “higher” in form and appearance.
TANHUANCO ANDALUZ Design Studio Co.
FOOTPRINT The building footprint is set at 38m x 27m (approx 1000sqm); Applicable to all clubhouse / multipurpose area cuts of the 3 phases,

We take lessons from presented scheme 2 and 3 as blocks containing smaller well as other studies to derive the form of Scheme 4. the offices, admin, smaller rooms and showers, toilets and lockers; while the larger block is the multipurpose hall.
SCHEME 2
SCHEME 3
ENVELOPE The design considers enclosure for airconditioning, with options for naturally ventilated activites. Again to have long span column free design on the multipurpose activity area of the clubhouse.
RHYTHMIC ELEMENTS
40 T+A Design Studio
The derived form is more form oriented with angled roof sloping to one side, providing one side which is higher and more pronounced.
Analysis/Comments: Design is more form driven compared to scheme 2, with its sweeping roof; it looks more mid-century modern; Concerns raised - while it does look good but lacks the “impact”SCHEME of scheme 24 - it has to have an impression and impact of a building within the Parklane development.
+
Rhythmic elements are good, vertical lines add “height”, repetitive lines interest and lead the eyes; Sweeping curves add flow and impression of movement to an otherwise boring length of a long structure.
DERIVED FORM
=
FORM AND MASSING Form and massing is important to lend and express the hierarchy of one structure to another. It is important for the clubhouse to be set “higher” than its surrounding houses, as this is a community gathering place.

FORM ADJUSTMENT
The building footprint is set at 38m x 27m (approx 1000sqm); Applicable to all clubhouse / multipurpose area cuts of the 3 phases,
The form is adjusted; the long block is broken into two sidesl larger block is made taller. and wider
PATHWAYS & PROGRAM ENVELOPE
The design considers enclosure for air-conditioning, with options for naturally ventilated activites. Again to have long span column free design on the multipurpose activity area of the clubhouse. The building will again be enclosed with vertical rhythmic elements not just as a secondary skin, but an integral part of the design and roof structure, with openings and curves strategically located in consideration of pathways and program.

Observations and Analysis ACU - blower cover looks dated/old reuse signage band; door handles are good opportunity
Some parts of the ceiling needs reworking.
Light fixtures needs replacement
GI Pipe lights has to go
stock room verify size. can be adjusted smaller or enlarged.
Needs cleaning; low quality graphics and stickers were used for the slatted wall
Palo-China Wood Effect and workmanship does not fit the quality of the tech shop. However there is opportunity to take advantage of the texture and patterns making the space more tactile. Existing patterns are ‘linear’ and alternating - tile and wood and the slatted wall patterns.
Fitting room is not needed; Removing is plenty of work and creates blind spots in the shop; moving stock room is not best solution due to location of utlity panels and switches.
cashier counter needs to be more presentable or discreet
some floor tiles have popped
The Client brief was straightforward - to utilize existing elements left by the previous tenant. We had to differentiate the store atmosphere from a beach and lifestyle store to a premium and curated Tech Gadget Store DIGITAL WALKER - UPTOWN MALL BGC

The area is relatively small and dark; The architect saw it as a challenge how to make the space look brighter, wider, and for the space to bear the identity and history of St. Stephen’s High School. The design utilizes linear elements and a change in volume to create a sense of extension and depth.
