Helena Bonham Carter Personal Horoscope
Actress Helena Bonham Carter was born in Golders Green, London, England on the 26th May 1966. Leading roles have included featuring the King’s Speech, in all the Harry Potter films, Howards End, Fight Club and A Room with a View and it’s said she has been cast as Prince Margaret in the TV series The Crown. Some may say Helena was born into a family of privilege with a merchant banker father, with family lines to leading political figures, whilst her mother was a psychotherapist.
Sun conjunct Mercury in Gemini The first thing that leapt out of Helena’s Chart for me, was the Sun conjunct Mercury in Gemini. This is an aspect which gives subjects a real nimbleness of mind and when it is very close like this (just 1 degree apart) so although not combust (or exact) which is said to bestow genuis, it is close enough to give us an insight into Helena’s ability to grapple with ideas and speedily so at that. Also Mercury is at home in Gemini being its ruler, and although I can’t say which House it is in because her time of birth is not in the public domain.
The Moon trine Venus The Moon in Leo is a very proud location for the Moon, and subjects can be said to be comfortable with the limelight. This bestows great warmth of personality, and also is in a lovely 120 degree or trine – The Moon Trine Venus to the planet of glamour located in Aries, itself a go-getting vivacious location for the planet linked to beauty, style and grace. And this combination both in Fire signs, will add a tremendous amplification of her personality.
Uranus conjunct Pluto sextile Neptune This combination of planets is very interesting. Many astrologers would call the combination between Uranus and Pluto a generational one, in the sense that because both planets are slow moving, it would have affected a whole tranche of people. But they still move, so to have them as closely conjunct as in Helena’s Personal Horoscope’s case where it does so at 0 degrees, which is so exact – just 19 minutes apart, to be very intense. This could give her some quite “radical” tendencies in some ways, but with both in Virgo, also a real appreciation of alternative therapies, healing, and an appreciation of the needs of person kind. But it is the link to Neptune which I find really interesting as this is the planet which concerns projection, subtleties, the movies, theatre, spiritual expression and sensitivity. With Pluto about depth, power, and transformation this combination will in particular give a substantial ability to absorb roles, characters and atmospheres but also to convey them in a really powerful way. This combination is also likely to give Helena a wonderful ability to create a reality on her own terms, but also tune into prevailing trends and social mores in a very skilled and astute way.
Saturn conjunct Chiron in Pisces This is a very interesting combination. Wherever Chiron is in any of our natal horoscopes, and especially the House it is located in, will be immensely important but Saturn conjunct Chiron in Pisces is in particularly fascinating. Chiron represents challenges around our welfare be it in a material, emotional, spiritual or physical ways. The Sign and House it is located in sharpens the focus.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what House it is in. Yet located in Pisces this is a great placement for an appreciation of the arts or for using the imagination. Now Saturn could make this almost a compulsion and/or it could afford great discipline, but it is possible that at times when things don’t go so well Helena could feel the “pain” of this intensly, and with Saturn linked to status and ambition see her work ever harder to overcome any more tricky, inner emotional strands.
