All backbends, lateral bends, & twists can be done lying, sitting, or standing. Know your body & do poses how best for you. As your body opens, your poses will transform.
Arch upper back gently backwards w/face & sternum guided up to sky
Bend to both sides
Lie flat & elongate your spine
Relax in corpse pose for 5 – 10 minutes, focusing mind on the breath moving in & out of the body. Visualize the breath moving into & out of the lungs, into & out of the heart, circulating around the body and feeding all of the body cells with oxygen.
