THIS MONTH Welcome to The Northern Light August - September Brochure! We are very excited to take part in the world renowned Wirksworth Festival! We are pleased to welcome our guests, Dj su-Ki, George Repton, Henry Fothergill, Dr Andy Minion and Professor John Hodson - we hope you enjoy the festival presentation we have curated for you. Outside of the festival we have our usual wide selection of films from around the world. In Joyride, Olivia Coleman plays Joy, a new mum on a mission in this light-hearted Irish road movie. You’ll love it! David Leitch’s latest film Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt. Brad is having a bit of a renaissance - with his impeccable comic timing, good looks and big screen charm he heads up a great cast in this riotous action-comedy. With Nope, we bring you another film from the master of suspense Jordan Peele. Nope promises more horror and suspense… then more horror and suspense…. if Get Out and Us are anything to go by, you’ll want to make sure you see it in the cinema with other people around!
