THIS MONTH Welcome to The Northern Light June Brochure Thank you for giving us such a warm welcome to Wirksworth! We have received many compliments on the programme and we will continue with this quality and variety. We are launching our new membership scheme and have posted this to everyone so you all have the opportunity to see what’s on. In future the brochure will be sent only to members. The wait is finally over, Tom Cruise has arrived in Wirksworth! Top Gun Maverick is being touted as ’the perfect motion picture’ and a ‘profound cinematic experience’! We’ve waited 36 years (yes, you read that correctly folks) and it hasn’t let us down. Superb action sequences with dazzling aerial combat, it will bring tears to your eyes and put a smile on your face all in the space of a few hours. The other huge film this month is Jurassic World Dominion. In this concluding film, most of the original cast are back together, sharing the screen with the most incredible special effects as dinosaurs live alongside humans. Be in awe! And if blockbusters aren’t your thing, we have lots of smaller films in between including foreign language films, horror, comedy, a couple of true stories and some back by popular demand.
