A BRIEF HISTORY When Grant Moffat went missing, the idea was suggested to raise money in order to put up a reward for information leading to his discovery. After one year and no response, a group representing different breeds, along with Grant’s sister, gathered after his memorial service and decided to establish the fund for the purpose of helping youth get started in the purebred industry in Manitoba. Since that time, some of the funds have also been used to sponsor classes at the Manitoba Junior Show in August every year, Showmanship Classes at the Brandon Fair and an Ambassador Award at the Canadian Charolais Youth Association Annual Conference and Show.
