Welcome to the 13th Annual No Borders Sale.
This year there are consignments for six top breeders from Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The quality in this year’s sale is great with the breeders digging deep, some right out of the show strings from Ag-Ex including the Senior Heifer Calf Champion. There are some great heifer calves that will make excellent show prospects and then become mama cows down the road. There really is something for everyone. Want proven producers? We have five cow/calf pairs. As you look through the catalogue you will see the quality of proven, promoted genetics that will fit into the top of any herd. There is also the largest offering of Full French females to sell this fall with seven on offer. As a testament to the quality, over the years, cattle have sold into seven provinces and into seven U.S states. The consignors are dedicated breeders many who have been in the business for many decades and will stand behind the quality they are offering from the heart of their programs.
Book your room early at the Jay’s Inn and Suites hotel and if you have trouble getting one, ask for one under the No Borders block, or contact us and we will help you get one booked. It’s an opportunity to gather with the consignors and have a good visit.
There are truly endless opportunities in the Charolais breed with record bull sales this past spring. We invite you to come and join in these exciting times with us. The Charolais bull market is expanding and Charolais is picking up market share with the Charcross calves again topping the market. The commercial market this fall is the highest it has ever been for all classes of cattle and with cow numbers down in North America, it should be good for many years.
You are welcome to view the sale cattle at the farms beforehand, or the day before when they move into the auction market, or the morning of the sale. If we can be of any assistance before the sale to facilitate your purchasing, please don’t hesitate to contact us, any of the consignors, or sale staff. If you can’t make it to the sale, you can bid online at DLMS.ca

At Pleasant Dawn we strive for high production to make the most profitable genetics for us and our customers. The 65 cow family I talk about every year for fertility and production. Just look at her Top Gun calf! Turnbull’s Full Moon just excels from calving ease to performance with strong maternal traits, just look at her udder. This moderate-framed female is also bred to the highly touted LT Governor.
Pleasant Dawn Adda combines some pretty cool genetics! Mr Top Gun is a performance bull with calving ease. He consistently adds length to all his calves. Take a hard look at this girl and plan on having her raising top end genetics year after year.
Bred May 1 to JBARW Mr Top Gun 1311 Stunning also comes from a high production female who produced until 14 years of age. She is a very attractive female bred to MR TOP GUN and will leave you anticipating her calving day. SPARROWS

Sired by Governor, you will be hearing a lot more about him in the future as he is doing a great job in the industry according to all reports. Exposed April 18-August 14 to Cedarlea Jordan 60J, vet checked due early February.
This female checks a lot of the boxes. Yes, she may be horned. But wow. The only reason she is coming to town is her mama SWR 913E gave us another phenomenal heifer calf. This cow family just knows how to crank them out. And they all have perfect udders that are walking here. And this bred is setting up to drop a really nice udder.
Meadow is a double polled heifer calf out of my top polled Full French cow, SCF Fauna 444F. Meadow is built just like her with beautiful muscling and a big top! So here ya go, let me introduce Jayla 640J. This cow has deep roots in her pedigree where fertility/performance and milk are top notch! Jayla is one solid deep mama who will work in anyone’s herd.
