I’ve heard Helge say when you buy a herdbull, make sure you look at his mother. Diesel’s mother definitely sold me on him and the Diesel females are turning out like her. The bottom side of 8102F is quite interesting. Several breeders who have toured the herd have said the Firewater cow (8102F’s dam) is the best female we have, and she was Sr. Champion Female at Agribition as a cow/calf pair. Fired Up 8102F is correct and feminine with superior feet and leg structure. She is mated to Architect, a cross that will really work and excel.

Consigned by Hunter Charolais We are extremely excited to offer pick of our entire bred heifer pen at the Sterling Collection 2020. When the decision was made to keep the bred heifer pen at home this fall, we decided it was a heck of a good time to offer up pick! We have sold bred heifers for over 30 years every fall and have never before offered pick of the entire pen like this. We are proud of the job that our females have done for other operations across the country. There are several different sires represented in the bred heifer pen this year including: • JWX Downtown 7C • DCR Mr Dual Threat D112 • CML Copyright 714E • Elder’s BlackJack 788B • LT Ledger 0332 P • WCR Commissioner 593 P • HC Belize 404B We believe there are shining stars in all of these sire groups in the offering. We cull extremely hard on our heifers trying to continually maintain and improve our cowherd at home. We select heavily on structural soundness, udder type, phenotype and disposition.

The heifers were synced and bred for a January 15th calving date. We feel that some of the best genetic progress can be made through the heifer pen and are always actively looking for new and exciting bulls to use across the pen as service sires. Harper is a real sweetheart of a heifer. She is very quiet and friendly and has more hair than you can shake a stick at. Harper has a lot of spring of rib and good muscle expression. payable immediately after the sale in Canadian funds. All settlements must be made with the sale clerks before cattle will be released. The right of property will not pass until final payment is made. BIDDING: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale. DISPUTES: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements. PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer after payment has been made. BREEDER GUARANTEE – FEMALES: As per the Canadian Charolais Association Code of Ethics, copies available at the settlement desk can picked up by the buyer at any time. EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In case where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold or for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.
