GOLF DAY TO HELP HANNAH HEAR

BLG Logistics will host a charity golf day on May 31 at the PE Golf Club with sporting legends Danie Gerber, De Wet Barry, Robbie Kempson, Fanie de Villiers and Naas Botha to raise money for the Help Hannah Hear fund. Hannah Marshall has severe hearing loss and Nystagmus, a condition which causes her eyes to “swing”. She will undergo a cochlear implant operation this year. Claassen het voortgegaan en gesê die titel van Lubbe se outobiografie, Full Disclosure, wat glo ’n “topverkoper” sou wees, maar waarvan nie een eksemplaar verkoop is nie, is uiters ironies. “Jou outobiografie se titel beloof iets wat jou beleggers nooit ontvang het nie.” Lubbe is altesaam 43 jaar gevangenisstraf opgelê op die onderskeie aanklagte, maar omdat die vonnisse gelyklopend uitgedien sal word, sal hy effektief 20 jaar agter tralies deurbring. Nadat hy gevonnis is, het Lubbe sy kop in stilte laat sak tot ao. Vernon Esau hom terug na sy sel gelei het. Hy het wel ’n paar woorde en ’n glimlag met Esau gedeel voor die deur agter hom toegeslaan het.

All systems go for Kragga Kamma shopping centre development PE EXPRESS REPORTER THE proposed development of a shopping centre on the corner of Kragga Kamma and Verdun Road at the back of the existing Spar is going full steam ahead with building planned to start at the beginning of May. According to Bruce Krog, director of the Isis Property Group which is responsible for the leasing and management of the centre, the site development plans, as well as the rezoning, have been approved. It is expected that the first tenants will be able to start trading in December. A new developer, The Tree Group owned by Hein Swanepoel, was also appointed about three months ago.

PE Express reported in February that some residents and the DA Ward 8 Councillor, Gustav Rautenbach, were opposed to the shopping centre right on their doorstep. One of the points of concern was a planned barnyard-type theatre, with up to 450 seats. According to Krog, they have taken note of the residents’ concerns and have decided that a barnyard theatre is no longer part of the plans. “It will be only retail outlets and a bistro and there will not be any night clubs or late night noise,” said Krog. With regard to the concern over the impact on the traffic volumes and road conditions, Krog said they would upgrade Verdun Road around the centre and the access to the centre would have a traffic calming circle and/or traffic lights.

The Muir class of 62 recently held a 50th reunion to coincide with the school’s Founder’s celebrations in March. After a search of friends who were in Stds 8 to 10 over the period 1960 to 1962, they managed to find 87 former pupils of whom 27 had passed on. DIE Helpende Hand Port Elizabeth-tak beoog om behoeftige laerskool- en hoërskool leerlinge in die omgewing met skryfbehoeftes te help. Helpende Hand volg beleid van opheffing en bemagtiging deur opleiding wat reeds op die eerste skooldag met skooltassie begin en uitgebrei word met skoolleiding, beroepsleiding en uiteindelik selfs beurs. Die Port Elizabeth-tak beplan om binnekort hul eerste gemeenskapsbeurs te stig. Hoewel die gemeenskapsbeurs belangrike fokus van die tak sal wees, beplan hulle ook verskeie ander projekte om die gemeenskap op te hef en uit die kring van armoede te help breek. Een van hierdie projekte is om skryfbehoeftes aan die Hoërskool Cillié en die Laerskool Dr. Viljoen te voorsien. Die grootste struikelblok is befondsing om in hierdie nood te voorsien. Die gemeenskap word versoek om asseblief dringend met die tak in verbinding te tree vir skenkings in die vorm van eksamenblokke, penne, uitveërs, balpuntpenne en plastiek boek-omslae. The Fish River Sun is celebrating its 23rd birthday in March – and the good news is that the greens are playing as true as ever, and the family can still relax in the heated pool or health spa while the golfers are out on the course. With the casino closing in 1999, the resort has focused on the golf course and providing activities for the whole family. These include the weekly all-you-can eat seafood buffets and public holiday and weekend champagne breakfasts. The Wahoo restaurant and its shady outside area have a clear view of the golf course which, according to Theo Geertshuis, who was responsible for the layout 24 years ago as part of the Gary Player design team, “has stood the test of time”. Fish River Sun greenskeeper, Tim Ridden, is continuing with the approach of working with nature to ensure that “The Fish” remains one of the country’s favourite courses.

Administration manager, Karen Lee, says the staff team at the resort continue to work together to ensure that there is as much action off the course as on it. “As a family destination, we understand that parents can really relax only when their children are happy and safe. Our activities are designed to do just that.” A relatively new addition to the attractions at the Fish River Sun Resort is the Castaways facility near the beach, which serves as a perfect base for a day in the sun and waves, or just relaxing by paddling in the Old Woman’s River. The river mouth and stretch of beach along the Fish River Sun property are also favourite spots for fishermen. The Fish River Sun was taken over in 1999 by black economic empowerment company Emfuleni Resorts – which also owns The Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth. As part of its bid commitment for its present licence, The Boardwalk cross-subsidises the Fish River Sun.

Technician: Mechanical (Ref:8200) Requirements: • a National Diploma (S4/T3) Mechanical Engineering qualification (B-Tech advantageous) • 4 years’ experience gained in plant maintenance in an operations environment as a technician • exposure to maintenance in steam traps and applications • knowledge of project implementation, development of maintenance strategies and mechanical drawings • good change management abilities and knowledge of shutdown – scope, planning and execution.

Bollywood artist to entertain PE crowds DURBAN Recording Artist and entertainer, Vijay Rajkoomar, is so hugely popular among the PE crowds, that he was “summoned” back to perform in the Friendly City by public demand. He will be performing at the Malabar Community Hall on Easter Thursday, April 5 at 8pm. This is Vijay’s third show in PE since 2006. His previous shows in PE were rated as very successful because of his interaction with his audience, and they enjoyed themselves dancing and singing along. “To be a successful entertainer is to give your audience what they want!” he said and promised his latest show would be even better.

Vijay is the only Bollywood entertainer who has performed throughout South Africa to a mixed audience. He has performed with some great international artists and has been recently invited to perform at the Indo-Carribbean festival in New York later this year. Westering Primary supports blood donation THE Westering Primary School in Port Elizabeth supported the SANBS Adopt-a-Month Blood Donation Programme for the seventh year in a row during February 2012. The target of 100 units was easily exceeded when 267 people donated blood as part of this programme. Grade 5W was the winning class for achieving the highest percentage participation with 52% and 22 blood donations in total. The winning individual award was shared among Rachel Cerff, Caleb Newfeldt, Jayden Johnson, Ashton Schalkwyk, Kelly Cummings, Tanika van der Merwe, Brandon Geyser and Jarryd Vorgers, who

all recruited 5 blood donors each during February 2012. Other interesting achievements include an overall participation of 30% (267 donations out of 879). Schools,charity canwinwith NationalPlaster Day THE first National Plaster Day on May 25 will not only allow schools the opportunity to raise funds for children but will also win money for their own school. The Children’s Hospital Trust is holding National Plaster Day to encourage learners to make a small donation to wear civvies and enter a competition to win cash for their school. According to Ronnis Daniels, Communications Co-ordinator of The Children’s Hospital Trust, they are fortunate to have Elastoplast on board this year to sponsor the campaign and hope to grow Plaster Day into an annual event that will support a different project each year. The Red Cross Children’s Hospital, this year’s beneficiary, is the only specialist hospital in Southern Africa dedicated entirely to child healthcare, treating patients from all over the African continent. “All funds raised through this year’s event will go towards upgrading and equipping the Hospital’s General Medical Wards (specifically B2 Ward), which treats the youngest and sickest patients. This ward treats general medical patients and those with chronic illnesses and infectious diseases such as HIV, TB and Meningitis”. Helping children overcome fear of darkness CHILD MATTERS by Dr Crystal Watson ONE out of every four children between the ages of 3 and 8 years experience night fears or nightmares. Fear of the dark can take many forms. One of the most common forms of fear of the dark is fear of sleeping in a dark room. Two different fears that can occur is night terrors and nightmares. Night terrors generally occur within an hour of falling asleep. The child awakens suddenly from a state of deep sleep in a state of panic. The child

also may seem confused, disoriented, and incoherent. Each episode can last from 5 to 30 minutes. A child who experiences night terrors is not aware of any scary thoughts or dreams and is usually able to go back to sleep quickly. Nightmares generally occur in the early morning hours. Children who experience nightmares can often recall the vivid details of their scary dream and may have difficulty going back to sleep. Nightmares will often centre on a specific problem or life event that is troubling the child. Night time fears and nightmares are extremely common in children, especially during the preschool years, but they can definitely occur in older children and adolescents as well. They are part of normal development, as children’s imaginations develop and chil-

dren begin to understand that there are things that exist that can hurt them. There are times that fears and nightmares are the result of a frightening experience, but in some instances they seem to come out of the blue. Family conflict and parental anxiety can also play a role. Anything that makes a child more emotionallyarousedisgoingtomakehisfears worse and make him feel more anxious. Children also typically have different fears at different developmental stages. Young children are often afraid of monsters and other imaginary creatures, whereasolderchildrenaremorelikelyto fearbeinghurtbymorerealisticdangers, such as burglars or a natural disaster.

What parents can do to help their child overcome fear of the dark • Encourage children to talk about

their fears as if often helps children feel better and parents get an idea of exactly what the child are afraid of. Acknowledge the fears and provide support. • Allow the child to “obsess”. Amazingly; most children have an internal drive to overcome their fears. They may talk about their fears incessantly; they may ask questions over and over again. • Help the child develop skills. As important as overcoming this particular fear, this experience provides an opportunity to help the child practice skills which will serve him or her a lifetime. Teach him or her to research his or her fear, to explore it, to practice facing it, and to develop strategies to feel safe. • Limit the viewing of scary television shows and movies which often stimulate the imaginations of young children, especially after they go to bed

in a dark room. • Make sure children sleep in their own beds. If a child gets up in the middle of the night, parents should lead the child directly back to bed. • Teach behaviors that counteract fearfulness, like to breathe slowly and imagine something relaxing. • Encourage gradual exposure. Parents should encourage children to confront their fear of the dark gradually. • Praise/reward progress. Parents should praise each step the child takes towards overcoming their fear of the dark. • Seek professional help for fears that persist. While fear of the dark is normal in most children, in some instances it can become a significant problem. If a child’s fear of the dark interferes with them or the family’s everyday life, professional help should be sought.

ACCORDING to Rape.co.za, it’s estimated that women born in South Africa have more chance of being raped than learning how to read. The great need that there is for support of victims, especially in PE, was evident in the huge reaction Dr Crystal Watson, Principal of the MTR Smit Children’s Home, received after her column giving advice on supporting victims of rape was publised in PE Express at the end of January. “Thereisadesperateneedforthosewhoaresupporting victims. I had so many enquiries from the public as well as victims themselves,” said Crystal. According to her many of the victims mentioned the great need for clothing and toiletries to use after the doctor’s examination. “These include towels, facecloths, soap, toiletry bags, shampoo and night gowns. I would like to encourage people and businesses to donated these items to rape victim support centres,” said Crystal. After the article Crystal was also asked to provide basic training in dealing and supporting rape victims to 16 volunteers of the Mount Road SAPS Victim Support Centre in conjunction with Business Against Crime.

More about the Thuthuzela Care Centre The Thuthuzela Care Centre, situated at the Dora Nginza Hospital, is a 24-hour stop centre for victims of rape. It provides a clean, safe environment for women and children. When a rape victim reports the case at her local police station, the police will take her to the Thuthuzela Centre where she will have access to the facilities that the centre offers. The centre features on-duty SAPS members and detectives, an on-call doctor and counselling services. There is a consulting room, a bathroom with shower and bath facilities and a kitchen. Linda le Roux, a state advocate, is the case manager at the centre, and is the link between the police and the victims of rape. “The Thuthuzela Care Centre has three objectives. Firstly, we want to lessen the secondary trauma, by offering more private facilities for the victims. Secondly, we want to get stronger cases for the court, with better and more thorough investigation. And lastly, we want to lessen the time it takes with these rape cases,” Le Roux said. Thuthuzela Care Centre also aims to put more emphasis on education around rape cases. In many instances women are not aware of their rights and the route to go when they become victims of rape. This, says Le Roux, needs to be addressed urgently. “Women need to know that they need to take the responsibility to be safe. Do not walk alone when drunk, because it is easy to overpower you when drunk and you will have a problem in court to testify because you cannot remember detail. “If a woman is so drunk that she can not give consent to sexual intercourse because she is unconscious,itresultsinrapeifsomebodyhassexualintercourse with her while in that state,” said Le Roux. According to Le Roux, children under the age of 12 cannot consent to sexual intercourse and any sexual intercourse with them results in rape. An adult having sexual intercourse with a child above the age of 12 but younger than 16, regardless of consent of the child, is guilty of the offence of having sexual intercourse with a minor. “If children between 12 and 16 years have sexual intercourse both of them may be prosecuted for the offence of having sexual intercourse with a minor. The message to adults is to stay away from our minor children,” said Le Roux. The Thuthuzela Centre has been in operation since October 2010 and was officially launched in August last year. At the centre we deal with only rape cases where medical treatment is needed. We receive an average a 140 cases per month. The youngest person received at the centre to date was 1 year and 3 months and the oldest 78. Tenant claims for property repairs THIS week the Property Poser experts field a query from a reader who rents out her second property for a minimal monthly amount, provided that the tenant maintains it to a habitable standard. Despite the negligible rental, the reader says the tenant pays irregularly and has made changes to the property without her consent. The tenant is now claiming that the owner owes him money, based on the improvements made, and she would like to know what her remedies are. Since it appears that there is no written agreement between the parties, we will consider the common law relating to the situation, says Charlotte Vermaak from Chas Everitt in Port Elizabeth. “There is a distinction between socalled useful and luxurious improvements on the one hand and necessary improvements on the other.” While the first can be removed by the tenant (provided this is done without causing damage), the second cannot, says Vermaak.

“In the latter instance, the tenant could claim compensation, which is calculated on the value added to the property by the improvement or the actual expenditure, whichever is the lesser.” Vermaak says the reader has not specified what kind of changes the tenant made to the property. “The landlord is obliged to maintain the dwelling in compliance with all ordinances, health or safety regulations, and other laws.” Therefore, if the tenant made repairs that qualify as necessary maintenance, for which the landlord should be responsible, he may well be entitled to reimbursement for the money spent, says Vermaak. “Should compensation not be excluded by means of a contract, which seems likely in this case, the tenant may have a claim based on the landlord being unjustifiably enriched.” It is a principle of our law that no person should be unjustifiably enriched to the detriment of another, says Rian du Toit from DTS Attorneys in PE. “A tenant who has improved a

In the ladies’ individual race it was Liza Bright who crossed the finish line first ahead of Jade Hooke and Rebecca Newman. In the lifesaving Ironman Category it was Andrew Skowno from Luvuyo Nonzinyana and Francois Gous whilst Faye Cowie took the ladies’ title from Tracy Gous. This was followed by Sunday’s finale of the Weekend Post Ocean Racing Series on Hobie Beach. Such has been the continued success of the Series that just over 3 800 entries were taken this season. The most popular event continues to be the Dis-Chem 1km Ocean Swim with just over 1 000 entries, followed by the Kingfisher FM Kids’ 1km Beach Run/Walk (950 entries), the Dis-Chem 3km Ocean Swim (881), the Varsity College 5km Beach Run (811) and finally the 5km Beach Walk at just 196 entries. The overall Series champions were crowned on Sunday after round 12 at News Cafe with the Jones family dominating the placings. Jason and Daniel Jones took the top 2

overall spots in the 1km Ocean Swim with Joshua Bellair placed third overall whilst Lauren Billson won from Chantelle O’Kennedy and Natalie Billson. In the 3km Swim it was Wayne Jones and Adri Louw who claimed the overall titles whilst PJ Duffy and Tammy Geyer placed second in their respective categories with Siegfried Lokotsch and Chrislie Niehaus third overall. For the first time in 6 seasons, Marinus Johnson was relocated to second place overall, with good friend Antonio Seconds claiming the overall honours this season with Margie Saunders in the ladies’ category. LeeAnne Collyer was the ladies’ runner up whilst John Lombardo and Jenna Parry claimed the overall bronze medals. In the walking category it was Series newcomer Colin Korkie who won with Sweta Das, Johan Ferreira and Bev Hoog claiming silver, with Michael Eales and Narelle Everson the bronze. In the kids’ beach run it was Nicholas Kingston and Kayla Ferreira who were the overall champions. Runners up were Brad Breetzke and Jade Voigt with Joshua Voigt and Courtney Wood claiming the overall bronze.

World record for six swimmers Six local swimmers have set a new world record for the longest open water relay swim. PE’s Ralph West, Sanmarie Woithe, Russell and Greg Tucker were joined by JBay swimmers Brenton Williams and JC van Wyk on Wednesday morning as they set off at Marina Martinique to try to better the 325km record. Swimming non-stop in relay format, the swimmers passed the record on Sunday morning and extended this to 350km before stopping and claiming the record for the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

Exciting upcoming events Sunday morning sees the last round of the Cirrus Bio-Ears Swim Challenge Series at Marina Martinique. All the action starts from 8.30am and events include a 10km, 7.5km, 5km, 3km and 1km swim plus the 500m and bank-bank swim for the kids. See www.ecswim.co.za for further information. Coming up over the Easter Weekend will be a host of exciting events at Hobie Beach as part of the 2012 Splash Festival. Kicking off the weekend will be the Madiba Surf Ski Classic (www.madiba-classic.co.za), which will then be followed up on the Saturday morning by the epic Bell Buoy Challenge (www.bellbuoychallenge.co.za). Easter Sunday kicks off with the Izani Siqubhe 1km Ocean Swim, followed by the kids Easter Beach Run for children 12 years and under. The first 50 kids to register online will each receive an awesome Splash Festival t-shirt with all finishers receiving Easter Eggs (www.kingofthebay.co.za). Monday’s programme will finish off with the King and Queen of the Bay elimination lifesaving events (www.kingofthebay.co.za). Events are open to all, but registration is mandatory. Shock win for Ferrari

BY NATALIE LE CLUE OPPORTUNISM is defined as the practice of seizing an opportunity the instant it is presented. The 14th edition of the Malaysian GP’s offered opportunities, were quickly snapped by two eager competitors. Rain, they say, is a great leveller in motorsport. In Formula 1 it can be extended a bit further – rain is a great car leveller. As is usual in wet conditions a driver with a bit more chutzpah and temerity can often create a great upset; only this time it was two of them – Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez. Sepang, notable for its changeable weather conditions, saw the heavens open enough for race director Charlie Whiting to hang out the red flag and stop the race. Before the race was halted, Lewis Hamilton led teammate Button cleanly off the front of the grid as third placed Schumacher was bumped into a spin by Lotus’ Romain Grosjean. As the intensity of the rain increased, the two McLaren’s led the way from Sauber’s Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso. Enter the red flag. The delay didn’t last for too long and the race was re-started behind the safety car. As conditions remained treacherously tricky, Jenson Button would be the man to bank on; though this time around it wasn’t the case. The 2009 champion bizarrely lost his front wing against the rear wheel of Narain Karthikeyan’s HRT and subsequently dropped out of contention and out of the points - yet again cementing the unpredictable nature of 1. It’s never truer in F1 that you have no clue what’s going to happen than when it’s raining. As the race settled down after the re-start it was Fernando Alonso in the lead of the race followed by the

Sauber of Sergio Perez. It’s no secret that Ferrari have designed a big toad of a car for 2012 and in dry conditions it looked utterly hopeless; even in the esteemed hands of Fernando Alonso. Nevertheless, the Ferrari proved easily the fastest car in the wet conditions. Surprisingly, Lewis Hamilton, a bit of a wetweather specialist, never featured in this race but for his brief appearance at the sharp-end during the first few laps of the race. Granted a third-place finish is still a good performance but with the kind of pace that McLaren have been showing Hamilton should have been closer to the front. There can be no question that Sergio Perez was the driver of the day. Almost audaciously he ran, comfortably, in second for the majority of the race distance. The Mexican was markedly faster than Alonso but a slight error towards the closing stages of the race cemented him in second place. Nevertheless, it was a sensational performance from the 21-year-old GP2 graduate and it won’t go unnoticed. Felipe Massa’s time at the Scuderia is running out rather quickly and rumours abound that Perez may be the likely replacement for the Brazilian. If you consider the fact that Alonso, at some stages, was lapping close to three seconds per lap faster than Massa, then Sergio Perez could literally have driven himself into a Ferrari seat with this stunning performance. Well done, Checo! Mark Webber finished a solid fourth while teammate Vettel dropped out of the points as a late race puncture dropped the reigning champion from fifth to eleventh. Kimi Raikkonen completed the fastest lap of the race and overcame a five-place grid penalty to bring Williams’s Lotus home in fifth position ahead of Williams’ Bruno Senna in sixth. To prove again how little impact pre-season testing truly has, Mercedes has scored a solitary point after two grand prix races – after looking like the team most likely to trouble the frontrunners. After two races of the 2012 Formula 1 season, Fernando Alonso finds himself, unbelievably, in the lead of the drivers’ championship. Nonetheless, the Spaniard refused to get ahead of himself in the post-race press conference and underlined that the result didn’t mean much as the team were still not where they want to be if conditions remained ‘normal’. Good on Fernando for the straight-talk; as brilliant a drive as it was it was dazzling opportunism at work. Bravo Fernando!

According to her mother, Cathrin, Hannah has been approved to get two cochlear implants. “Without the cochlear implants Hannah will never learn to talk properly, and will be developmentally delayed. Fret not – there’s plenty to smile about Meyer, perforce, is going to be ringing the changes. No more the likes of Victor Matfield, Bakkies Botha, Danie Rossouw, scrumhalf Fourie du Preez, centre Jaque Fourie to name just a few of the old guard on whom Springbok rugby has for so long depended. Now it’s in with the new with Meyer having to put his faith in fresh young faces to bolster the few remaining stalwarts of yore. But the good news, as demonstrated among the ranks of new blood on show last weekend, is there is talent aplenty – and, as is so often the case, much of this gold to be mined is to be found in a Bulls’ side that is starting to look truly – if you’ll forgive the perennial cliché – awesome! Whether Meyer has been whispering in Morne Steyn’s ear, isn’t known. But playing as he did against the Reds, there’s no need to look any further at flyhalf, particularly as his halfback partner must be Francois Hougaard. Lining up outside them are the likes of Wynand Olivier (a fine game against Reds), Juan de Jongh and retreaded JP Peterson, ready to form a solid midfield with evergreen Jean de Villiers. In addition to Bryan Habana there are quality wings aplenty. Provided agreement is reached with his French club there’s still Francois Steyn to factor into the equation. We haven’t even looked yet at the precocious talent of baby flyhalves, Patrick Lambie, Elton Jantjies and Johan Goosen. Besides the established Du Plessis brothers, Bismarck and Jannie, and their frontrow “third-wheel”, Beast Mtawirara, look no further than Andries Bekker, Flip van der Merwe, Jandre Marais, Eben Etzebeth and several other likelies to complete the front five. There are young loose-forwards aplenty led by tireless Heinrich Brussow, Pierre Spies, and, hopefully, not forgetting Schalk Burger, once he’s fit, to lead the side. Looking at the bigger picture at international level then, there’s every reason for confidence and pride. As Der Bingle used to warble: “Just remember that sunshine always follows the rain!”

WHEN South African teams weren’t doing that well in the southern hemisphere Super Rugby competition and two SA teams were drawn to oppose each other, the clever dicks would say:”Well, at least one of our sides will win this weekend – if it isn’t a draw.” For a while it looked as if it could be that kind of weekend with the Stormers-Lions match scheduled for the last game in Round Four, with a likely win for the Capetonians. It had been preceded by heartbreak for the Sharks, going down 30-34 to the Waratahs, then the Cheetahs, though gallant to the end, having to admit defeat at 28-21. In the last game of the day, though made to work hard for it at 24-19, the Stormers duly collected their expected win. But the game of the day came at Loftus, where a Bulls team that so far this season had been playing without direction and seemingly with little heart, found their way at last with a 61-8 thrashing of Queensland Reds, last year’s winners of the tournament! As important as it was for Bulls’ morale, the victory was even more significant for the prospects it offered new Springbok coach, Heyneke Meyer, for the upcoming home tests against England and the southern hemisphere Four nations tournament, which this year will include Argentina along with the usual opponents from Down Under.

Actionpacked weekend awaits at outdoors expo THE Inflatable Boat National Championships, professional snow boarding demonstrations and a motorbike “foot up” demonstration are just some of the action-packed highlights awaiting visitors to the Bridgestone Great Outdoors Expo from March 30 to April 1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Michelle Campbell of Bridgestone said apart from all the normal activities and displays, they have decided to include a “Save the Rhino” campaign. “Funds will be raised throughout the weekend and no less than five celebrities will be skydiving to draw attention to this worthy cause,” said Campbell.
