Leighton Virginia Motley Daughter | Born: 7/11/17 Parents: Shannon & Blake Motley Siblings: Parker (2) Grandparents: Susan Johnston; Beverly Motley PSALM 139:14–16

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

10:00 Rhett William Ryan Son | Born: 10/2/17 Parents: Sara & Billy Ryan Siblings: Blythe (2) Grandparents: Debbie & Steve Moore; Kathy & Bill Ryan Great-Grandparents: Lucy & Ernest Gardner PSALM 1:1–3

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Ryan Williams (Wils) Sugrue Son | Born: 8/9/17 Parents: Bonnie & Ryan Sugrue Grandparents: Mary & Clay Gibson; Debbie & Pat Sugrue TIMOTHY 4:12

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

ACOLYTES

An acolyte plays an important role in our traditional worship, bringing the light of Christ into the service and leading us out into the world to be the light of Christ. Today’s acolytes:
