M E MOR I A L DAY This weekend, as we celebrate the traditional beginning of summer, prayerfully thank our Heavenly Father for the brave souls who sacrificed their lives in defense and in support of our United States. Pray for the families who have lost mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters in military service, asking God to embrace these families with His peace and comfort. Give thanks to our Lord for the freedom and prosperity we enjoy and for those who contributed to these blessings.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think about such things. Philippians 4:8
