LEADING THE WORSHIP - 8:45, 10:00 & 11:15

Pastoral Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Offering Our Gifts Jesus Paid it All.....................................................................arr. Robert Sterling I hear the Savior say, “Thy Strength indeed is small Child of weakness, watch and pray; find in me thine all in all” (Refrain) Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe, Sin has left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. For nothing good have I whereby Thy grace to claim, I’ll wash my garments white in the blood of Calvary’s Lamb. (Refrain) And when before the throne I stand in Him complete, “Jesus died my soul to save,” my lips shall still repeat! (Refrain)

The Deposition from the Cross Rembrandt Van Rijn ~ 1634 The “Deposition from the Cross”, painted by Rembrandt Van Rijn in 1634, is housed at the Alte Pinakothek museum in Munich. In the Williams Center today is an original etching of the same scene that Rembrandt drew the year before (1633) entitled, “The Descent from the Cross: Plate II.” One of our Peachtree families has loaned this original etching to the congregation for our sermon series. Visit the Williams Center after worship to view this beautiful work.
