Congregational Introit * Christ Is Made the Sure Foundation
Invitation to Prayer How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
Prayer of Adoration*
Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Give Praise to God
Hymn of Praise ** Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise #85 Lighting of the Candles Placing the Bible Prayer of Confession Merciful Christ, we can scarcely begin to comprehend the depths of your love for us. From eternity past you have known full fellowship with God the Father. And yet you let go of your rightful place and your rightful standing, becoming like us. In humility, you lived a life of perfect obedience that led to your cross and the depths of the grave. Forgive us for insisting on our rightful place, always mindful of our status in this world. Forgive our fear of stooping low in order to lift others up. Move us beyond shallow inclinations toward others and help us to see others as you see them. May the power of your grace be at work deep within us now as we continue our confession in silence… Assurance of God’s Forgiveness

In God’s story we find our own story. We often think of our life as a mishmash of hundreds of individual moments in time. But what if everything we experience is really part of one great narrative? Starting with our new series on September 14, we’re going to learn to see the Bible as one story and find a daily purpose in God’s eternal plan. The Story Group Signups Dive deeper into the power of God’s story through our 8-week group study beginning September 28. Connect and grow in your relationship with Jesus and with others. Choose among women’s groups, men’s groups, young adult groups, parent groups and community groups. Groups will meet weekly, about an hour and a half, and you’ll receive a specially written curriculum to help you learn more about how your story fits into the greatest story ever. Sign up now at: peachtree-church.org/storyseries
