The Fruits (and vegetables) of your faithfulness During the past two weeks, our mission teams witnessed firsthand the inspiring results of your faithful investment in the people of the African nation of Malawi. Our mission of Joining Christ daily in the restoration of all things is being accomplished in this desperately under-resourced country. Our teams, including Senior Pastor, Rich Kannwischer, report encouraging progress in multiple areas Peachtree is supporting. Gardens planted with seeds from our Seeds of Hope program are producing vegetables that are being used to feed and support families and communities.
Christian camps for our high school and college-age students provided encouragement, teaching, and skills training for the youth. Our annual VBS program for elementary-age kids presented opportunities for Bible stories, scripture teaching, and singing.
Water wells are being repaired, ensuring an accessible source for safe drinking water to entire villages.
Hundreds of Malawian youth are attending secondary school because of your financial sponsorship. Secondary school graduates are attending and obtaining college and technical school degrees.
Many of our college graduates are now improving their own villages and people. A girls dormitory is nearing completion, providing safe residence for nearly 100 girls to attend school. The new structure is financed by the Peachtree Trust and was dedicated and blessed in prayer by our Senior Pastor. Our mission team delivered critically needed medical supplies to a local hospital and personal care to hundreds of people at a mountain clinic. Our values of Unexpected Togetherness and Disruptive Compassion are in full display through the efforts of our mission teams and your faithful financial support. A documentary film crew from our Communications Team traveled with Peachtree members to capture the compelling stories of love and hope. Our commitment to Malawi and to the Chitipa region is indeed producing very significant fruit for the Kingdom. The lifelong connections made and life changing events witnessed are restoring hope and faith for our missionary teams and for our Malawian brothers and sisters.
You can support our work in Malawi with your gifts to the Missions Ministry. Please join us as we are Joining Christ daily in the restoration of all things.
