ACOLYTES
An acolyte plays an important role in our traditional worship, bringing the light of Christ into the service and leading us out into the world to be the light of Christ. Today’s acolytes:
8:45 Jupiter Jones Molly Schaffer
10:00 Caroline Birdsey Mary Sandford Birdsey
ADVENT WREATH Advent candles help us keep watch for the coming of Jesus. Today, we relight the candles of hope and peace and light the candle of joy as we wait in anticipation for the celebration of Christ’s birth.
8:45 Jeff & Linda Graham; Grace
10:00 Andy & Lynn Hamilton
11:15 Jay & Sandy O’Meara; Jacob, Katelyn, and Jackson
The Sanctuary will soon be decorated with beautiful Christmas greenery and poinsettias! If you would like to take part by honoring or remembering your loved ones, you may purchase poinsettias online with a credit card. Or, if you would prefer to pay by cash or check, poinsettia order form envelopes are located in each pew. Simply complete the form on the envelope, include your payment, and place it in the offering plate. Completed forms with payment can also be placed in boxes located in the Williams Center and Family Commons throughout the week. Poinsettias cost $10 for each person you wish to remember (Mr. & Mrs. count as two people). Today is the last day to turn in forms and checks. Names of those being honored will be listed in the December 17 bulletin.
