Offering Our Gifts Down to the River to Pray  arr. Philip Lawson

Placing of the Bible Prayer of Confession  Merciful God, as your people we have been called to worship you. We gather here in obedience to your word and in response to the leading of your Spirit. We confess that these moments are easily neglected. Our weekends are often consumed with other activities. Sometimes we come to the day of worship weary from the demands of the past week. Forgive the ease with which we forsake the practice of worship. Pour out your grace on us, that what we do here might be more than mindless routine. Help us to worship you with heart and mind and strength, even as we offer our silent prayers of confession…

On January 31, the Peachtree congregation voted to establish a Pastoral Nominating Committee (PNC) to select our next Senior Pastor. As a part of the PNC’s work, they have created a survey to gather information for the PNC about your experiences and insights at Peachtree Presbyterian Church and thoughts about selecting the next Senior Pastor. The information that you provide will be critical to the PNC’s work and your time investment is greatly appreciated. A few notes about the survey: • The survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete • All adults, high school, and middle school students in your household are encouraged to take the survey • Members and non-members alike are encouraged to fill out the survey • Your feedback is anonymous The survey is available online and in paper form on campus at stations in the Williams Center and the Lodge Lobby. All surveys must be completed by March 6. Thank you in advance for completing the survey, and thank you for your trust in the PNC as they work to select Peachtree’s next Senior Pastor. peachtreechurch.org/2016survey

Lent is a time for saying “yes” to spiritual disciplines that will lead you deeper into the way of Jesus and “no” to activities that keep you at a distance from God. On Thursdays through Palm Sunday, join us in Wilson Chapel for a time of worship, prayer, and reflection as we make our way through the Passion of Jesus to Resurrection Sunday. peachtreechurch.org/lentenprayer
