SANCTUARY WORSHIP ASSEMBLE IN GOD’S NAME
Offering Our Gifts The Lord Is My Shepherd JOHN RUTTER The Lord is my shepherd: therefore can I lack nothing. He shall feed me in a green pasture: And lead me forth beside the waters of comfort. He shall convert my soul: And bring me forth in the paths of righteousness, For his Name's sake.

Lighting of the Candles/Placement of the Bible Prayer of Confession* Gracious and loving God, the world we live in is no friend to grace. Strength is admired and weakness is scorned. Our fear of rejection drives us to work hard at hiding our flaws and concealing what we lack. And yet, apart from a truthful recognition of who we are, we cannot draw near to you. Deliver us, O God, from the need to hide and pretend. Forgive us for being defensive and always needing to be ‘right.’ Help us to face our flaws – not in shame, but in thankful humility for the mercy you offer us. Grant us the gift of that mercy in these moments as we continue our confession in silence… Assurance of God's Forgiveness Congregational Response Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me. Thou shalt prepare a table for me Against them that trouble me: Thou hast anointed my head with oil, And my cup shall be full. But thy loving-kindness and mercy Shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Doxology* Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow

Life of the Congregation** Invitation to Prayer My Jesus, I Love Thee Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
