Hymn of Praise** A Mighty Fortress Is Our God #91 Lighting of the Candles Placing the Bible Prayer of Confession Gracious God, in your Word, you go to great lengths to reveal the extent of your generosity and provision. You teach us that living generously is the secret of life. We confess, however, that our lack of faith, our greed, our insecurity, and our selfishness have created economic chaos in the world and in our own lives. Forgive us, Lord. Help us to declare with conviction our desire to give and to live as you have designed. Hear us now as we offer our personal confessions to you…
Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Offering Our Gifts The Last Words of David

We all have stories of God’s faithfulness— to us, to our families, to our coworkers, to our friends. And we’re promised in scripture that he is always working “for the good of those who love him” (Rom. 8:28). But sometimes in the trials of life, it can be difficult to see God’s plan at work. God’s timeline is much larger than ours—infinite, in fact—and in our finite viewpoint, there are times where it can seem like he’s forgotten about us. It’s helpful to step back and remember those moments in our life where God has been faithful, where he has been evident to comfort, lead, and guide us. God’s faithfulness is evident throughout the history of Peachtree. And along the way, God has been faithful to you and your family as well. This morning, let’s celebrate God’s faithfulness and respond with a heart of generosity as we join our gifts together to be a part of God’s work in and through us at Peachtree in the year to come.
