In God’s story we find our own story. We often think of our life as a mishmash of hundreds of individual moments in time. But what if everything we experience is really part of one great narrative? Starting today with our new series, we’re going to learn to see the Bible as one story and find a daily purpose in God’s eternal plan. The Story Group Signups Dive deeper into the power of God’s story through our 8-week group study beginning September 28. Connect and grow in your relationship with Jesus and with others. Choose among women’s groups, men’s groups, young adult groups, parent groups and community groups. Groups will meet weekly, about an hour and a half, and you’ll receive a specially written curriculum to help you learn more about how your story fits into the greatest story ever told. BAPTISMS
This morning we celebrate the baptisms of children. As we baptize these children and welcome them into our church family, we make a commitment to nurture their faith, praying for the day when they make their own decision to claim Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. —Philippians 1:9–11
My daughter, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. —Proverbs 2:1–5
