The animist cult today remains very alive in the country. Songs, drumbeats, dances, prayers and offerings accompany the ritual ceremonies. The great diversity of religious and ritual dances also contributes to Benin cultural richness; these traditional choreographies are performed during very special festivities such as the Gani, which brings together the community Baatombu, but also during numerous improvised festivals. Do not miss these festivities if the opportunity arises.
