The people of Mendoza are typically very kind with an open communication style. Women and men greet each other with a kiss on the cheek, though greeting one another with a handshake is also common. If you begin discussing politics or Argentinian affairs, locals may consider you quite rude. In recent years, Argentina has had problems with counterfeiting money, so be sure to check the bills you are accepting when handling money.
