Motivation propelled toward the creation of positive change. Motivate active citizens to step up to the challenge. Today’s theme is motivate. What does motivate mean to you? Today’s World Congress meetings, community engagement activity and events will answer this question and more as Congress delegates harness motivation through the JCI legacy of 100 years of impact. The last day of Congress begins with the 2015 JCI Board of Directors meeting along with the 2014 and 2015 JCI Board of Directors Handover meeting, allowing JCI’s newly elected officials to start preparing for a great year ahead. Attend the UN Global Compact forum to find out more about the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. Also, give back to the Leipzig community by participating in the Plant for the Planet community engagement tree-planting activity. This evening, the JCI World Congress concludes with the JCI Presidential Inauguration, 100th Anniversary of the JCI Movement Kick Off and Farewell Ball in the beautiful glass hall. Seize the moment towitness history as JCI President Shine Bhaskaran passes the chain to JCI President Elect Ismail Haznedar followed by the official launch of the JCI 100th Anniversary. The JCI celebration of 100 years of impact beginning tonight will continue to grow and ignite around the world until next year’s JCI World Congress in Kanazawa, Japan. Use each activity and experience today to think more about how JCI will create an environment in which people are motivated toward positive change.
