Annual Winter Solstice - Head Start Fundraiser Party

Monday, December 10 at 6:00pm Magnolia Room (doors open at 5:45pm) Join us for this annual fundraiser for the Head Start program in Lee County who provides support for over 700 girls and boys ages 3 to 5 who are from low income families. We have asked Head Start to identify 30 families in need this holiday season, many of whom will not have a holiday if the Residents don’t help. A Christmas tree is set up in the hallway of Soleil Health & Fitness with ornaments, each with a child’s name, age, gender and size of clothing and shoes. Some ornaments will have parents’ wishes as well. Select one ornament and bring the unwrapped gift to the event on December 10, please include a holiday gift bag with the items. If you are not a shopper and would like to donate instead, we would be happy to accommodate you. Please make checks payable to Jim Grier (10751 Ravenna Way, Fort Myers, FL) and write Head Start on the lower left line. You may mail the check or bring it to the party. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be available. Ham, beverages and table service will be provided. Please bring a dish to share at the event that serves 8-10 people. Last names beginning with A-H should bring dessert. Last names beginning with I-P should bring an appetizer. Last names beginning Q-Z should bring a veggie. For more information pick up a flyer at Soleil by the Head Start Christmas Tree. If you have questions, you ma contact Judy Weil at bobjudyweil@embarqmail.com
