Journey of Faith (1) - Krom Ert

Hi everyone, my name is Krom Ert. I would like to share my life testimony of how I believed in Jesus.

I believed in the Lord Jesus because He healed me from my disease. This sickness had afflicted me for a long time. I could not do anything. I suffered every day and night.

One day I went to a clinic near Permai Cambodia Church. I met an elderly church member. She shared the Gospel with me. She invited me to the Church. Because I wanted to be healed, I went to the Church with her immediately. I met the Pastor and they prayed for me. When they asked me whether I wanted to open my heart and put my trust in God, I answered, “I believe because I really want God to heal me!” As a result, God made me feel better and better.

Before that, I had visited many hospitals to look for doctors but they couldn’t help me. I used to look for many gods in the temples, but they couldn't heal me. I tried my best to find whatever way that could heal me. So, I had many altars worshipping evil spirits in my house.

After I had accepted Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I invited Pastors and church members to my house to pray and to remove all the idols and altars. I was set free from all the bondages in my body and soul. I was healed. I can do all the work now. All my children and my husband are very happy when they know that God has healed me. Some of them also put their trust in God. We always pray for each other every day.

I see the wonderful works of God in my life. Now God continues to bless my family with peace and His faithful provision. He protects me and my children who live far away from me. I really thank God for His love for me. I pray that God will help me to keep my faith in Him and call all my family members to believe in Him.

I accepted Christ in June 2020 together with my husband and my youngest son. My second son and his wife, together with my nephew and his family, five family members altogether, have accepted Christ and received water baptism in May 2021. Praise God as He has saved my family members one by one and led us into the Kingdom of His Son.
