Journey of Faith (4) - Morm Pheaktra
By: Morm Pheaktra (Permai Cambodia Church)
Greetings to all brothers and sisters in Christ. My name is Morm Pheaktra. I’m 21 years old. I am in Grade 12 now. I would like to share my life testimony about how I believed in Jesus.

When I came to learn English in Permai Cambodia Church, I started to know Jesus more and accepted Him as my personal Saviour forever. I have believed in Christ for 4 years now but I just received water baptism last December.
There is something that I want to share about our baptism day. We met an accident when we reached the baptism site, which was a lake. The vehicle we took slid down a slope and went into the lake while making a turn. Thank God for His faithful protection and no one was hurt.
God has performed many miracles in my life. In the past, I didn’t know how to communicate with people in a polite way. Sometimes, my words made other people unhappy. I was a timid girl but God has transformed me to be courageous.
It is not easy to love and to be committed to God because I face many obstacles. People insulted me, and my family pressured me when I became a believer. Sometimes, my parents chased me out from home to stay at the Church because they didn't believe in the Lord Jesus. When my parent’s marriage broke down, my siblings and I were very sad because we saw our parents separated. But God will never leave me nor forsake me, He is always there for me. God gives me the strength to go through the hard times in my family. He encourages me and I want to be with Him always. I always pray that God will keep leading me.
My life has changed after following God. All the challenges taught me to stand firm in God and to love my family more. God helps me to be strong in the hard times in life. Thank God that I have the opportunity to continue my study and can work hard in my studies. I am thankful to Permai Cambodia Church for helping me in my study until now. I am thankful to all my friends and Church members who always encourage me. Last but not least, my deepest heartfelt thanks to my King, Lord Jesus. He is my all in all, I am made whole in Him!
