Before I believed in Jesus, I did not like to study. I liked to play outside my house, I disobeyed my parents and I was not doing good academically. After I came to study in Permai Cambodia Church, my life began to change gradually. I came to know Jesus and I enjoyed studying in the Church School.
Later on, I had the chance to attend Sunday Worship and lead worship, which helped me to know more about God. I know God deeper through experience, the message preached by the pastors and the testimonies from brothers and sisters in the Church.
God works in my life by helping me to change from a lazy student to a hardworking student. I became an obedient child and I don’t play too much like before. I can say that my life has changed a lot. I started to change since the day I knew God. I’m very happy that God forgives me of all my transgressions that I committed before. And I have the opportunity to become His child.
What do I gain from my faith in God?
The most challenging part in my faith journey is that I’m always looked down by others because they don’t like Christians. They persecute people who believe in God. They hate me.
Although faced with persecution, or even hated for the sake of the Gospel, God is always by my side and He comforts me. This is the greatest encouragement that enables me to walk with Him.
