The virtual world, as we all can sense it, is continually expanding. In some areas the benefits are the much easier and broader selection of goods that we might be interested in, in others we can benefit of a much more efficient negotiation and a better price or value for money ratio (as a result of the benefit mentioned before, and not only) or we are able to obtain a service or some goods much faster than in the classical way. But what is the benefits/ drawbacks ratio in the case of online training and teaching, more specifically language training, even more specifically, professional language training and teaching?
I have been teaching in person business and professional English courses for more than 20 years now. I started having online classes about ten years ago, and as the Founder and CEO of Linguaprof Language Centre I had been managing and controlling online courses of French for more than 100 students, mostly medical doctors and nurses, being taught by 7 different trainers.
