CPD puts heat pump technology in the frame

A new CIBSE-accredited CPD course has been launched by NIBE Energy Systems. It presents the role heat pumps are to play in the UK’s green energy transition, while addressing the fundamental principles behind heat pump and other low carbon technology operation.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the policy being developed and implemented to increase the installation of this technology, as well as looking at the impact this will have on indoor air quality and the environment.

Other topic areas covered include the refrigeration cycle, heat pump performance and how this is measured, as well as an overview of ground, air, and exhaust air-heat pump technology.

NIBE says its aim is to inspire those who may be newer to the heat pump market about the significant opportunity that exists, while also helping specialists to further develop and enhance their existing skills. Those undertaking NIBE’s CPD course will also be able to use the learning hours to contribute towards their CIBSE learning and development requirements.
