Trianco will be offering free product training at its Rotherham base along with subsidised MCS training through NAPIT training centres.
The S400 solar collector by SolarisKit is a flat-packable solar collector that can be assembled in 30 minutes without the need of any tooling, to supply the energy for hot water generation. Suitable for a range of applications, from camp sites and swimming pools to homes and businesses, the collector is certified to Keymark EN12975/ISO 9806.

In most standard weather conditions, the device is claimed to be capable of heating water to temperatures of up to 50°C. Sunlight enters the collector through transparent side panels and strikes the black internal coil, which is then heated through solar radiation. Water is then circulated through the coil using a small pump. From there, the heated water is circulated around the coil in an insulated solar hot water cylinder. Top up can be provided through the night by either a programmable immersion heater or boiler.

Hot water, heating and cooling
The Aquarea K Generation of heat pumps from Panasonic now includes an All in One unit (right of picture) to provide heating, cooling, and hot water production.
Available in T-CAP and High Performance variants, these compact units (with a footprint of 598 x 600mm) offer reduced noise levels, and a sleek design which can be lined up against other big appliances such as refrigerators or washing machines. Thanks to its low height, it can also be installed with a ventilation unit on top.
As well as supplying efficient heating, the unit generates domestic hot water and stores it inside a 185-litre stainless steel tank with U-Vacua insulation to reduce energy losses.
The Aquarea K Generation is available in
Paired with a smart control
The heat pump range from Alpha has been expanded with the addition of the Alpha Hydro, a single-phase solution which pairs with a pre-plumbed 210-litre cylinder and Smartech controls. With a built-in weather compensation probe, it ensures precise monitoring of inside and outside temperatures, keeping the desired levels of heat in the property constant without any fluctuations. The Smartech controller enables app-based remote control, allowing users to remotely programme their heating systems to suit their lifestyle and desired comfort levels.
To save installation time, the preplumbed cylinder assembly comes fitted with a fully wired control panel.

T-CAP ranging from 9 to 12kW single phase, designed to keep total capacity even at extremely cold outdoor temperatures. These models are said to be ideal for replacing gas or oil boilers and for connecting to new underfloor heating.
The High Performance variant is suitable for new installations and low consumption homes, delivering effective heating, cooling, and year-round hot water with minimised CO2 emissions.
The new units have a SCOP of up to 5.12 and utilise R32 refrigeration. They are capable of delivering water outlet temperatures of up to 60°C even when outdoor temperatures are as low as -10°C.

Monobloc units offer simplicity of installation
The Enviroair air source heat pumps from Firebird are available in single phase outputs from 7.5 to 16kW. Featuring a single monobloc unit which is installed outside the property, the range provides a compact and space saving solution. Installers can take advantage of Firebird’s Technical Hub which offers support with the planning and installation by providing a free home heating consultation and technical support package. The service ensures that important warranty criteria are met and helps keep compliant with MCS requirements. The heat pump can be installed with Firebird’s Envirocyl quick plumb unit and the Enviroair underfloor heating and ventilation system.
