Tighter angles and sharp edges

The Superplan floor-level shower tray from Kaldewei, which is said to have been purchased over a million times in the last 30 years, has now been updated with sharper edges, tight angles and clean lines. The seamless shower is made of recyclable steel enamel and now has an installation depth of just 25mm, which is almost half that of its predecessor.

The Kaldewei Superplan also features a nonporous glass surface, making it easy to clean, while the angles of the outer corners and edges have been reduced, so that it can more easily be integrated into an existing tile grid with tiling up to the edge of the shower surface.

The new Superplan is available in standard bathroom colours and the exclusive shades of the Kaldewei’s Coordinated Colours Collection, offering installers a wide range of bathroom design options. It is fully compatible with all of the company’s accessories – from assembly and waste systems to easy-care and anti-slip finishes.

The shower tray will be available in all 41 sizes by the autumn of this year.

Trio of contemporary lever taps

Three new tap ranges have been launched to further expand the range of options available from Bristan. Said to have been created with both design and durability in mind, the three new additions – Polo, Napoli and Qubo – will form part of the company’s core range. Featuring a contemporary, minimalist lever design, the new Polo, Napoli and Qubo ranges include a basin mixer, bath filler and bath shower mixer. Polo (top left) combines a straight lever with a curved spout; Napoli (middle) features slim lines and European-inspired styling, while Qubo (right) features a strong, angular design.

All designs feature a hard-wearing chrome finish with long-life ceramic cartridges, while a 10-year guarantee means consumers can buy with confidence.

Jonty Cook, Bristan’s category manager for taps, says: “These ranges will provide installers with more choice at a mid-level price point from a brand they can trust. As with all of our products, the new designs have been rigorously tested and will be supported by our exceptional guarantees, awardwinning customer service, and with a full suite of spares.”

Fluted wetroom panel is right on trend

New from Harrison Bathrooms is a fluted glass wetroom panel – the Scudo 17. Available in five on-trend colour options, including brushed brass, brushed bronze, gunmetal, matt black and chrome – the panels are made from 8mm toughened glass and are treated with Acqua Shield glass cleaning technology to resist the build-up of scale and grime. For a co-ordinated look, the fluted wetroom profile packs can be colour matched with other products in the Scudo collection, including taps, mirrors, showers, flush plates, basin wastes and overflow covers. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/723/46
