Appealing to black and white thinking

Building on the popularity of matt black fixtures, hansgrohe has extended its Logis range of taps to include a sleek matt black finish. For water and energy conscious customers, Logis features CoolStart technology to ensure the tap supplies only cold water when the handle is in the middle position, with hot water flow being activated as the tap handle is turned to the left.

The matt black finish benefits from a protective coating that makes it extremely durable and able to withstand cleaning agents such as disinfectants.

The extension of hansgrohe Logis in matt black has also been applied to various products outside of taps, to allow customers to create a holistic bathroom aesthetic.

An easier way to mount, adjust and level the tray

The BetteLevel shower tray (pictured below, right) has been designed to make installation easier, with self-locking telescopic feet that are simply glued to the shower tray. The company says it has ‘revolutionised’ the process of mounting, levelling, and adjusting the shower tray to the desired height.

The tray can easily be raised to the desired height, and the feet lock in place automatically. If any adjustment is required, the lock can be released by lifting the shower tray, and the process repeated to lock the feet at the correct height. Once level and at the correct height, the waste can be installed, and the tiling can be done.

Independent Living

Also available is the BetteAir (pictured above), an easy to install, flush-to-floor shower tray, which can simply be glued to the screed like a conventional tile. Made of strong glazed titaniumsteel, the BetteAir shower tray is durable and stable, even in the largest sizes. It is also fully recyclable. The BetteAir shower tray is available in 15 sizes, including extra-large, and they are available in a choice of 33 matt and gloss colours.
