To be held over four days, from March 13 16, this year s Elle Spring/Summer Fashion Week will be presented under the banner Bangkok is Your Runway . Three different inner city locations have been nominated: Scala Theatre at Siam Square, Lumpini Hall at Lumpini Park and W Bangkok. 10 top Thai designers have signed up to show their latest ranges. On display will be: Asava, Curated by Ek Thongprasert, Greyhound,
Issue, Kloset, Munchu s, Senada, Something Boudoir, Tu i and Vivkteerut. The organisers held a press conference to give details of the event at TCDC at The Emporium. Designers were on hand to preview their collections, each bringing along a model. One outfit from each of the 10 fashion houses was given a brief preview. Words and photos by Paul Hutton.

Nylon Magazine Launch Thailand’s latest fashion magazine, Nylon, has just been launched, and the team behind the publication held a glittering bash at Siam Center to celebrate the occasion. A fashion show was topped off by special guest Gene Kasidit who entertained champagne sipping guests from atop specially erected scaffolding.
